It works and it's high effective.
I used to go to a chiropractor before I moved who had the EMS machines. I always felt great after because it loosened up my muscles and relieved the pain. After I moved, I had a hard time finding a chiropractor that had the EMS machines. I would go to a chain chiropractor's office and get adjustments. The pain would go away but within a week, I was back to where I was before and never felt like the adjustments were effective. I decided to give this machine a try without having any expectations that it would work. Boy was I wrong. I didn't think a battery-operated unit could be as powerful as the plug-in machines at the doctor's office but this unit is just as powerful. I found out the hard way when I turned on the machine and cranked the output. I had to unplug the connection because I almost fell to the floor. Another thing I like about the machine is that I can set a timer to as much as 60 minutes. At the chiropractor's office, I was limited to a 15-minute session. Yes, that was probably enough time to be effective but I wanted more. A con of the machine is the touch screen could be improved as I found it to be less sensitive and finicky. I also wish they offered a mode where the machine would stay on and give constant stimulation and have the stimulation gradually go up and down and so forth. All the modes seem to pause at some point. Maybe I just haven't found the right one yet. I highly recommend this machine as it has helped relieve my back pain tremendously which in turn, has helped improve my mood. When you're in constant pain, it's hard to have a positive outlook. It will also save you money on trips to the chiropractor.

A Great Product
I bought this tens unit a 1 1/2 years ago, when I was struggling with a variety of muscle aches. Now, 18 months later, after a minor accident yesterday (luggage fell from the overhead bin on an airplane and landed on me), I’ve got some aches and soreness. I’ve reached for this tens unit again, and again it’s delivering relief. It has withstood the test of time and a lot of use, and it still works like new. Much better than the store brands available at CVS or Walgreens, this can be customized for listing on the body, intensity, and type of stimulus, offering a truly wide range of options from gentle to hard pulsing, deep tissue stimulation. I think this is a terrific product and would buy it again. When I purchased it, manufacture offered an additional pack of adhesion pads in exchange for registering for the 24 month warranty. I did so, but was skeptical that I would have my inbox flooded with junk mail. I don’t think I’ve gotten a single email from them sense. My point is that they are not bugging me to death and abusing the use of my email address. It was an great exchange for me.

Good unit - lousy instruction manual
The TENS/EMS unit appears to work correctly (this is the first unit I purchased, so I have little to compare it to). But the instruction manual has MANY errors. The manual says there should be an AC adapter - there is none, and no space in the package to put one. There is no instruction how to use the Lock button feature. The unit has 24 modes, but no description of what each does or when each should be used (the on line manual has a little more description, but no instructions what each more is for) You just have to try each mode and see what you like. There should be more explanation of the difference between TENS and EMS, it could be harmful if used wrong (any unit, not just this one). The on line manual has two modes number 4 and no mode number 7. The instructions have a warning not to apply pads to the same area more than 30 minutes at a time, but the unit timer goes up to 60 minutes, seems contradictory. On sale it was low cost. With care it provides pain relief. From my reading (outside of this unit) TENS does not cure underlying problems, just short term pain relief, you need to know what to expect. Addendum - When I asked the factory how to use the LOCK button, they responded "Do Not Use Lock or Pause Buttons". Quick response, but silly information.

Good product to have for soreness/Pain
I have to say I figured it was another gimmick that my Father was recommending when I said I had shoulder pain. He always buys things off the infomercials that never seem to work so I had my reservations. But I have to say this little older i-phone sized machine works. It really helps with soreness and pain that I get from working out and just generally pushing my self to hard. I hurt my elbow working on project so bad that moving it just shot pain up my arm. I put this on it a few times a week and sure enough the pain felt better and better each day along with mobility. And then working out really hard one day I re-injured my shoulder and sure enough it worked on that too. So I am now the one recommending a product. YIKES! Next I will be watching infomercials. LOL! About that actual product (Owned this product for over a year now)- they supply you with enough pads that it will be about a year before you need replacements if you use it all the time. Just keep them on the clear plastic after use and add a drop of water to them when they don't stick as well. The over all product is easy to use. Someone mentioned that it does have a lot of massage feature that is true but with all the selections you can absolutely find something that will work. If you crank the intensity up you will probably make yourself jump out of your skin so just take it easy at first then turn it up slowly until you feel it. Also the battery I have to say in mine is great. I use it all the time and it hold the charge for a very long time. I have put it on the shelf for a few months at a time and grabbed and it was still at the same battery level. The case is really nice because you can keep everything together and organized. The lock feature is really nice as well because I will put the unit in my pocket as I am doing things and it just does it thing. If you forget to lock it will change the setting so this feature is necessary unless you just sit there.

Cost effective, versatile and easy to use TENS/EMS unit that delivers good pain relief
Excellent TENS/EMS unit. I previously had the opportunity to borrow and use another highly advertised and very expensive non-touch screen unit. There is no comparison between that device and the Belifu AS8015 mini massager in terms of choice of modes (3 vs 24) or cost effectiveness. I have been using this about 3 times a day since I received it over 3 weeks ago and have only had to recharge the battery once. I particularly like modes 8, 12, and relax. As a person who believes in massage therapy, I have had almost every form of massage and acupuncture. This machine obviously cannot replace a good massage therapist. However, the muscle relaxation and pain relief it provides are quite good and can be accessed any time and as often as necessary at no cost. The updated downloadable electronic user manual and follow-up emails (from Betty) with PDF attachments on FAQ (problem solving), touch screen modes and tips on electrode placement were extremely helpful and made the unit less intimidating and easier to use. I highly recommend the Belifu AS8015 to anyone who is looking for a cost effective, robust and easy to use TENS/EMS unit.

Muscle Ache Begone!
This works great as a part of medically prescribed rehab. I had lots of weakness as Covid and a secondary internal infection left me in a bed for two months. Physical and cardiac therapy helped with muscle strengthening, and this helped loosen tight or overused muscles to reduce pain. It’s not a panacea, but better than eating ibuprofen or opiates :) Depending on the setting, the intensity of the “shock” varies dramatically. There are some “gentler” types that can go almost to the top, but the more aggressive “massages” I start at 1/2 and slowly dial it up to about 2/3. A couple of massage types are painful if cranked too high. I’ve used this about three times a week for a couple months, usually around 30 minutes per session. The 4 segment battery indicator finally lost a bar, but barely. When I turn it on, now, it starts at four and moves to three. The battery life is outstanding. The touch lcd isn’t too sensitive - don’t expect smartphone reactivity, but it works ok. The buttons are a little cheap, but they work, sometimes with an additional press or two. The pads last about a week (3-4 uses), but a wash with a little hand soap + thorough air drying brings a little life back. When not being used, be sure to mount the pads back on to the protective sheet, or use some Saran Wrap on the tacky side, or you’ll be putting hairballs against your skin :) Really, this has been one of the best purchases I’ve made on Amazon when you consider the cost, how much it is used, and it’s overall benefit.

Better than my Omron; helps with nerve/arthritis pain
I have the very overpriced Omron TENS with heat. Even with fresh pads, conductive sticky gel, medical tape (you name it!) it felt nearly impossible to keep the pads on my skin without physically pressing them on. The pads are also REALLY delicate, so they wear out if you look at them funny. I got tired of replacing overpriced pads that didn’t really heat/warm up anyway. I got it because I was desperate, in pain, and the pharmacy didn’t have much to offer. I finally gave up on that big clunky piece of junk and tried this one. You can use more electrodes with this machine (at the same time during a session) than many others, which is a great feature. You can use generic electrodes that have the metal buttons on them, so it’s cheaper to maintain. It’s roughly the size of a smart phone and very light, so I can stick it in a pocket while I do other things. I have NO idea what the icons mean. It doesn’t really matter- each mode is very different, and the “shocks” can get pretty strong (unlike some other devices). Even with some tiny electrodes on my neck, it can feel as strong as a deep tissue massage after fumbling through a few vague icons and settings.

Pads do not stick.
I bought this after reading many reviews and consumer reports. I haven't gotten to use it much because the pads DO NOT STICK AT ALL. The unit seems to work okay, except that if the pads aren't securely stuck, it's just a sharp electrical shock, which is what I have gotten because the pads don't stick. I bought some other pads from Amazon that stick somewhat better, but not much. I bought a HealthmateForever tens ems machine seven years ago for my boyfriend. The unit still works and we both are still using the same pads that came with it. Seven year old pads that stick like glue. Needless to say, I am very disappointed with the pads that came with this unit. So, I can't really say whether the unit is or isn't good because I can't use it until I get pads that stick. That being said, the case that comes with this unit is nice, and it's cute too. I bought this so I wouldn't have to compete with my boyfriend for the one we already have. I got it on a flash sale for a great price. Now I'm going to have to spend the money I saved on the machine to buy more pads, to hopefully be able to use it. If you buy this, plan on buying more pads.
