Excellent bit of kit. Multiple applications, quiet operation. Long battery life

I bought this along with the oneblade on black friday sale, check price history before buying. Surprisingly, it lines up my beard & moustache much better than the oneblade. A really nice surprise. The motor feels nice and powerful. Like, better than what the barber uses even. Just make sure to take good care of it, ive read reviews saying the blade can break even though its metal. But just avoid dropping it and take good care of it, and that wont be an issue. This is by far, much better than any philips product ive tried including the multigroom 7000 and oneblade pro / 360, and def much better than any other beard trimmer ive tried in my life including remington, wahl etc. Remember to read the manual, it needs oiling when the oil LED lights up. That way, along with taking good care of it, you can make it last a lifetime im very sure. Im hoping this will last me at least a decade. It comes in a very nice leather style hard-shell zipped case aswell, better than the plastic cases that come with the oneblade pro, or fabric pouches that come with their other models. Overall, highly recommended. I should have just bought this alone instead of the oneblade tbh, it does a better job for edging/detailing for sure! The reviews made me think it wouldnt, thats why I got the oneblade, but ive tried both and can confirm this is better, for detailing nice clean / sharp edges on my short beard at least. Noise level is as expected. Its all metal, so grip is as expected, no issue with me but if you sweat a lot it might be slippery unless you hold it right from the top where the rubber grip is. (Maybe you are meant to hold it from there, and im just holding it wrong lol). But yeah, overall TL,DR? Highly, highly recommended i am very pleased with it for maintaining my medium-short beard with detailing & trimming in between barber visits. So much cleaner at it than anything ive ever tried and ive tried pretty much everything except the overkill Wahl detailer (if i wana use that id just go barbers)

Cuts really well and produces a consistent cut quickly and smoothly. One attachment which is just about enough for the length I look for. Quiet and a nice compact size with good battery life. Only struggle I have is trimming below nose, I find I have to finish that with scissors as the razor won’t reach.

Excellent cordless trimmer for that designer stubble look. Easy to clean, comes with charger, custom comb, oil and cleaning brush. 3 or more shaves per charge. This machine WILL NOT give a clean shave. It is meant to leave stubble.

This cleverly designed beard trimmer is the very best on the market. Solid gauge stainless steel self-sharpening precision clippers driven by a consistent energy supply from a powerful electric motor. No awkward multiple heads to fit as all cutting heights are adjusted by a built-in rotary twist control. Far suoerior in every way to the cheaper Braun which I returned. No more painful pulling of hairs as this trimmer glides through any length or thickness of hair. Admittedly it is rather expensive but you do actually get what you pay for.

Ok, i bought my trimmer just over a month ago and have finally found the holy grail for stubble trimmers. Its been at least 10 years searching and spent at least £500 trying to find the right one and with just a few strokes with this one i knew i had found it. My last was the remington gold and and although cut ok i knew it wasnt right, or good enough. That packed up after a year. Before that i had the wahl aqua blade which cut very well but the lengths were not what i wanted. I dropped that and it was knackered. Before that a babylis etc etc so again spent a few hours researching and this one popped up and i dont remember seeing it previously however i was swayed with reviews. 99% were positive and i think you only can be bothered to write one if you find something very good or very bad, hense mine now. So its has a satisfying weight to it, which was nice. And just has a feel of quality. As i have said my only use is to keep the stubble short and have always had an issue to find something comfortable, accurate, simple and getting the right length which for me nearly every previous trimmer with attachments hasnt been. This has a dial on the back that goes from 0.4 up every 0.2 mm up to 5mm and then has an attachment for beards etc and its exactly what ive wanted. The cutting is so precise and just effortless. Any angle it does its job. It is best to switch it off to adjust the dial. For me its 0.4 below jawline 0.6 above lip and lower edges of bottom lip and then 1mm rest of face and nothing ive used before allows me to flick between length so easily and get done well within a minute. It really is best trimmer out there for me and if anything goes wrong with im not bothering to search again ill just get another one im that impressed with it.

Pros: It works as a good beard and body hair trimmer Feels quality Looks goohas a nice carry case Battery lasts a long time Battery indicator for charging is clear Comes with attachments, brush, oil, case and changer Perfect for growing out a beard and keeping it a short to medium length (4-5 on settings) Feels like a nice weight to hold Cons: Very messy when shaving beard hairs go everywhere in all directions all over the sink (you'll need a beard bib) Not very close, goes down to 0.5, anything closer get a we shaver or a foil shaver or one of them round tripod head ones. This is a trimmer not close shaver. Shpash proof for cleaning / using in shower. Overall : Would recommend to add to existing grooming kit. Value for money is okay. Standard for cleaning, head comes off easily enough but hairs best brushed out when dry or use compressed air. Charger is proprietary so you have to buy a phips charger if you ever need a replacement or want two (would be better if was usb c or similar standard cable). The charger stand/cradle/holster is not included and is not cheap.

This is a very good shaver. The closest setting provides me with the desired stubble, the trim is uniform and it’s good at cutting the edges. Battery life is also excellent. I haven’t charged since buying almost a month ago. This replaces my Philips OneBlade. Definitely a superior product. You can’t replace the blade, but apparently they self-sharpen and are meant to last years. It is quite large but that’s not a problem for me. Gives the impression of a high build quality. A number of settings, plus a guard for very long beards. I had to wait longer than expected to receive because it got lost in the post.

Top notch product from Philips that ticks all the boxes as a reliable product for beard trimmings. Highly recommended.

this is just not 0.4 mm at least in my case. I'd say it's probably double that size . I needed to pass 5 times over the same place to cut the hair on my chest . Quite disappointed , returned it
