Taco 007 BF5-J Circulating Pump with Bronze Cartridge for longer life then standard 007-F5

Replaced a 1/8hp 009 that came factory in my central boiler. Had been replacing 009’s every year for last 4 years after initial one failed after 10 years. This one works great, super quiet and 1/4 the price of the junk 009’s ive been getting. No issues this year 3 months in. Definitely will buy an 007 from here on out.

this is the second one we have purchased. The first one is 4 years old and still working reason we purchased the 2nd one is to have on hand in case somethings happens to the one we are currently using. We use it to circulate water from our wood boiler to the house.

I got this to use for a solar water heater to recirculate water coming from a collector I made thru my house water heater. So far I've tested it feeding a bucket of water thru my collector back to to bucket & it works as I needed it to but for such a low power pump it gets concerningly hot when run continuously however it will only be run intermittently so should be fine. It will not self prime so be sure you have fluid in the pump. The flow volume is very low but ideal for this application & doesn't produce very much pressure, you can easily plug the flow putting your finger over the outlet discharge but again it's only for recirculating so it should do fine. I'm pretty content with it so far but this looks to be Chinese made & will update this if it fails to hold up after put into use.

I was really pleased by how quick and helpful the seller's response to my inquiry was. The product was exactly as described and my plumber installed it right after it arrived, in time to get the boiler up and running for the colder snap that began yesterday.

Would buy from here again. Pump also came with manifold seals thanks. Note if pump is mechanically sound and doesn't run it could the small capacitor only needs to be replaced.
