I am SO pleased with our new red wine decanter. It has a beautiful classic look and the cork stopper is an ideal extra that many don’t have. Also it is nice and light so will not be too heavy when full. It was great value for money and we will definitely use this regularly not just special occasions. I am really looking forward to christening it on Christmas Day and am sure our guests will love it too. I looked at many many options and am super happy with my choice. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Just an update to my initial review. After a really quick delivery and refund because some accessories were missing. I realised I liked the item so much that I'd take a chance and reorder. The new version came very quickly all beautifully complete. Just something that happens from time to time but Jean from the company contacted me to express his personal apology and to offer a storage stand dryer so that this gift to my daughter and husband would be extra special it again arrived super quickly this morning absolutely delighted. I would also add that Jean personally emailed me throughout the resolution to reassure me. Its obvious that reviews can be harsh when something goes wrong although I try to be honest and factual only. However when a company make such efforts to make things happen for you and you feel like the person representing the company is making it their business to make sure you are a delighted customer, then this deserves to be shared. My experience started with a couple of problems but concluded with a delighted and will be a repeat customer. I cannot recommend Jean and Plaisir de la Cave enough. I can only say a simple thank you and wish you all a very happy Christmas. I will be ordering another couple of decanters in the new year as they are very stylish and from a company I really trust.

The product is as described and does look beautiful when displayed. We are saving it, to use it for a special occasion but so far very happy. It was also nice to get a message from the company to show they do care x

First class and beautiful to look at, and handle. Decent cork ball to stop any dust or flies from entering. Also got the stand to store and drain from washing. Fully recommend.

I got this decanter with the matching drying stand and cleaning beads. I have been using it for a few months now and I can say with confidence that it is a fantastic product. The glass in the decanter is fine but robust and it is very easy to clean with the beads and hot soapy water. The stand is perfect for drip drying the inside of the decanter and is practical for storing. I have had numerous compliments from friends and family about the decanter. In terms of using the decanter it without doubt improves the flavour of my red wine. I couldn’t go back to pouring straight from the glass. This is perfect for opening up the wine and letting it breathe. So buy with confidence, it’s a great product and well priced in my opinion.

I gave this decanter to my husband for his birthday, and he loves it. It looks very elegant and holds an impressive amount of wine. I was worried it would be difficult to clean but the cleaning beads it comes with work very well. Excellent product and one I will keep in mind for future gifts.
