Not as exotic as I had hoped, only a very subtle smoke flavor but it is a very good kraut, tender and flavorful. Not stringy or vinegary like some krauts.

Delicious and way over priced

Excellent company, they accidentally sent me initially the white sauerkraut, and immediately when I alerted them of their mistake, they sent the correct purple sauerkraut, no charge.By the by, both of which are heavenly.Being that I'm a vegan and eat probiotics daily, this is a yummy way of getting those little guys in my gut!
