Upon arrival they are great and heavy duty(sorry for the poor video quality, but I wanted to show all of the functions). The video does not do the colors justice. One thing I left out is there is also a dimming function too. It only got 4 stars, because one strand had a bad bulb straight out of the box(luckily it came with two extras) and the voice function does not work on that same strand. Other than that these lights are great. I will be hanging them on our balcony, so we will see how they hold up to extreme temps and snow. Definitely recommend this set of lights for all of the cool features....well worth the price.

We bought this set of lights to decorate our back patio with light. We got these instead of the ones from costco that were just white.Quick Pros:These support warm white which is great.They also support many RGB options including sound activated blinking.The remote works well and if you press some mode buttons multiple times you get variations of them.My Favorite is you press "Chaser" multiple times and you get a multi colored twinkle. (Speed it up for a better look)It has a speed control for the chases and strobe modes using the dimmer buttons.It remembers the settings even after a power loss.Can be Daisy chained together to extend the lengthCons:There is way too much space between between bulbs at 39"I would prefer shorter spacing like standard cafe lights. 24" or even 18" would be nice as a option.The Music Mode is just flashing the entire strands. it would have been nice if the bulbs other patters could be changed to the musicOverall they were a good value for the money.

I have had these lights in my cart for a long time. I was so thrilled when I finally purchased them. We seasonally camp and I wanted these lights at my campsite.When I hung all the lights up I realized only half of the lights were working. I tried multiple ways of trouble shooting then ended up taking them all down. I realized that one of the connecters was not working. So I connected the lights a different way and they all turned on. I was super excited and went through all the different features and then colors. Everything worked until I put the lights on Warm White and then only half the strand worked.I really don't want to go through the hassle of taking them all down again just to send them back, but I am thinking about it since they were expensive.

The first set I ordered wouldn’t work at all....so odd. I sent it back and received the replacement which worked perfectly! What I love: price, multi use,and over all look. What I wish were better: this is RF frequency which means the box near the plug must be able to revive the beam from the remote (old technology). I work to hide cords and the remote demands that box be visible - not ideal. The plug for the outlet is big and takes up both spots on the outlet - not ideal and old technology as well.Overall, I would buy them again and would have planned for a different design of how I hang them given the challenges I shared above.

I love these things and my wife thinks I'm crazy. Sitting outside, watching TV and playing around with my remote controlled lights. My friends and neighbors love them too. Great light, options and construction.

I almost didn't buy these because of the review that said they don't sync to music as advertised. Ours do, and not only that they sync to your own singing. My six year old daugher loves them. We do too. We haven't had them long, so I am not sure how weatherproof they actually are, but they look great by our pool.

It’s nice that there are various color options, but there are no instructions that explain how to select light colors for each lighting effect. They’re preset and not set to a color I would normally select. For example, the tri color option is red, green & blue. It would have been nicer if they were red, green and white to go with a Christmas theme or gave you the option to select the three colors to display. I was hoping to use these lights during various holidays throughout the year, but the current options don’t really allow for that. Unless, you’re OK with one color without any effects. Also, they are not nearly as bright as the photos portray them to be.

Put these lights up over our deck, we were amazed on how awesome they looked. They were easy to connect two string of light together. Planning on getting more. They will work great for patio lights and can be used as outdoor Christmas lights.
