Animal Essentials Senior Support for Dogs & Cats Supplement - Milk Thistle, For Old Cats & Dogs, Pet Kidney Support, Herbal Supplement - 1 Fl Oz

Very pleased with product, looks like a good formula with various herbs to help support Senior Dogs. My 15 year old Dachsund mix was in real tough shape, started using a dropperful mixed in her canned dog food, also added 1/2 teaspoon of a dog barley greens powder, and about a scant teaspoon of flax oil. The last thing I tried was adding about 4 ounces of colloidal silver to her 2 quart water dispenser, as I had read testimonials of it's safe use. Mixed well, dog likes it. She is doing much better after a month, runs around in the yard, coat nicer, etc... Note, the herbal ingredients can increase urine flow as kidneys and liver detox, we had to be more alert to her need to go pee, just a heads up!

Love this product and it has really helped my 17 year old kitty girl, especially to stop barfing. Still, I was disappointed after purchasing this a second time, because the indications on the dropper are all but invisible. How am I supposed to know how much to give her? Seems pretty cheap to have removed the gradations in favor of something you can barely see. Good thing I still have the one from the previous order!

I just received this 5 days ago and I haven't seen any real difference BUT my cats LOVE this and they happily eat their wet food with this and the Spring Tonic. Even if it doesn't perform miracles for my 13.5 year old cat, it can't hurt and I'm willing to do what I can for him to live as long as possible. He is a very healthy cat so there were no miracles to occur since he is not sick.

My little 9.5 year old Shihtzu loves the flavor and is happy to take 50 mg. 2 x per day. I put that amount in the dropper, sit by her little bed in the kitchen (she has a bed in almost every room in the house) and call her. She knows what's about to happen & runs over, sits in the bed and puts her face up so I can put the dropper in her mouth.

Please research the effects of garlic on cats & dogs before considering this product. Some say in low doses is fine but I'd err on the side of caution to avoid the damage it could potentially cause to the pet's liver, especially if already elderly or has other health conditions.

I got this for my moms dog who is very old. I've used the Spring Tonic on my dog with success, so I had high hopes for this senior blend. I'm not sure if my moms dog is just too old for it to help, but there hasn't been any difference. I think she's just too old for it to be of any benefit, but I do know other blends have helped.

This an amazing product! It has really helped my dog to become alert and has totally changed her to help her be more interactive.
