Nice HP wand
These were great for a Halloween costume and kids keep them around and play with them every once in a while. The illumination on it is nice actually used it to see behind a TV when plugging in a cable.

Fun for teacher
I am known as the Harry Potter teacher and found myself frequently using a red ruler to point at thing on the board, maps, and generally around the room. In a stroke a genius I saw this when looking for Halloween ideas. It is the best 10 bucks I have spent. It is obviously plastic but looks like wood. The wand is lightweight and easy to point with. There is a big button, easily reached and held, for turning on the light. The light isn't bright and the white tip keeps it from shining in peoples eyes but still draws my student's eyes where they need to go. You do have to keep holding the button down for the light to stay on but I like that feature since I don't have to worry about the light staying on and running down the battery. Prefect for a dress up box or a teacher who needs a fun pointer.

Low quality
Light only worked for a handful of pushes before it stopped working. Sometimes if you press really hard the light will flicker so there is someSort of connection problem. Made of light thin plastic. Would not recommend
