The gel is beautiful with all the different colors, my only problem is that the lamp takes at least 4 minutes to cure even thin coats of gel, and when it does cure the gel always has little craters in it for some reason. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong but it always had craters. Beautiful colors though, and everything else works fine!

Good set for beginning. Except the pink base gel turns yellow. I've enjoyed making many beautiful sets from this, love color choices. Brush set kinda cheap. Nail tools good. Came with OPI nail oil apple nice smell.

The gel doesn't cure hard enough. It started peeling off of my nails the very same day. I thought that it would get harder, like acrylic. Good thing it was cheap.

I have not yet tested all items in kit except for the lamp. But I can say that all items in kit arrived unscathed and well protected. The seller was awesome to work with (had an issue with my order being stolen mid-ship; seller immediately rectified that situation). All items appear to be good quality items. This would be a perfect student kit. The nail clipper (the one that allows you to cut tips evenly) is a little on the cheap side but for a student, this won't matter. Don't expect super high-end materials, but do expect to not be disappointed with what you receive. An excellent starter kit. An excellent "I need to perfect my gel application" kit. And, an excellent "I just want to do my own" kit. Again, not super high-end stuff, but what do you expect for $50? These items, individually, would cost you a LOT more than $50. I personally would use this company again. For the record, I am a licensed nail-tech. I have used super high-end and super low-end. This is nicely, squarely, in the middle.(One note, while my colored gels arrived nicely packed, do be careful opening the bottles to check for color. They don't explode or spill, just be gentle with opening them. And do label the bottles after. They don't come labeled.)

Not what I was expecting

Shipping is excellent. I received all my items. Great starter kit:)

The colors are vibrant and well worth the money if your doing at home manicures and full sets. Was bummed that it didn't come with a bonder but no biggy I had some. The shipping was fast and nothing spilt.

Everything was shipped quickly and received easily. All products were as described and now my girlfriend sits at her desk for hours doing her nails.
