This stuff is so much better than electrical tape. The only drawback is that it is not easy to cut/tear, but the positives outweigh the extra effort by far. It looks good, adjusts easily, and is not messy.

This is an excellent, high quality tape for wrapping harnesses and wires INSIDE the passenger compartment of a car NOT the engine bay. Use in an engine bay for harness wrapping is contrary to the manufacturers specified main application. This tape is specifically designed for use INSIDE the passenger compartment to provide flexibility and noise damping. For example, wrapping wires and harnesses that come in contact with metal or plastic areas that can cause rattles. This tape uses a rubber based adhesive with a temperature ceiling of 105 degrees C or 221 degrees F.Older and high performance car’s engine compartments can easily exceed this temperature. The rubber based adhesive can gum up and the ends of the tape will flag.If you are looking for tape that is specifically designed for operation within a high temperature automotive environment then look for tesa 51026 or 51036. Both use acrylic based adhesives with high abrasion and temperature resistance up to150 degrees C or 302 degrees F and no flagging. The media could not be loaded. This tape is super easy to use. It’s super durable. And is really sticky. The value for the money is really good. If you wrap it around the wire is it keeps the wires from rattling against the panels and keep them looking really nice so it keeps the noise down.

Genuine Tesa tape, shipping took quite a while but not sellers fault. Tesa tape came brand new, unused in perfect condition. Would buy again

I am adding ambient lighting to my RCF since Lexus decided to remove it for my model year.. While splicing into the wires I wanted everything to match with the factory harness. I bought this tape. It's so much nicer than normal electrical tape. In my picture the harness to the right with the white connector is what I added. If you didn't know, you'd think that came from the factory like that. Which is exactly the look I'm going for.I like this stuff a lot! Seems to stick to itself just like the OEM felt tape. Matches, and looks good! Should have zero issues with this stuff and or anyone thinking this was some back yard install...

Cover up those janky untidy wire looms with some genuine Tesa harness tape. Don't leave those projects unfinished looking.

So, Tesa cloth tape is not tall that sticky- but that's a good thing if you ever want remove it without leaving behind a yucky residue. It also won't seep adhesive in high temps like regular vinyl electrical tape. It does stick very well to itself, however, almost like medical tape. Once wrapped it does stay in place, even on smooth surfaces.For hiking/camping/tactical applications it is awesome as it is very tear-resistant and easily removed and rewrapped. The cloth material molds itself tightly into odd shapes well, such as sling swivels and tri-glides. Perfect to prevent rattles on loose handguards or cover shiny bits that you don't want giving away your position.I replaced all the duct and electrical tape in my packs with this stuff. Great product!
