I think a neighbor used my water last month....i put these on, and the bill is back to normal. That's all I can say. I got what I was hoping for. I like that it requires a beryl type key and can't be cut like a padlock.

Very good products great to use when you’re not at home or on vacation so that your neighbors are not using your water. Just make sure that you lock it..

These work really well; was concerned they wouldn't hold up over a wet winter. I've replaced five frost-resistant hose bibs at our apartment complex. Tenants use them correctly and haven't inadvertently caused damage. It's the other people who trespass and use the hose bibs. I'm OK with someone taking water, if they need it. However, they don't realize the valve is about 12" in the wall. Once turned off, it takes a few seconds for water to drip out. Instead, people tighten the valve aggressively to make sure it's off, causing it to fail.

It works so far. I have only had it for 2 weeks. Other customers did complain that they could not remove the device, I have not tried to remove it. I will update this item when we take it off.

Excellent product ~ perfect for our mountain house. Someone last year turned our outside faucet on and it cost us several hundred dollar water bill.

These are very simple to use. Turn the lock so they screw on the hose bib, use the key to lock them in place, and they cannot be taken off without the key. I put these on all our hose bibs in our neighborhood because we had lots of construction going on and we were paying twice what our water bill should have been. Since installing these, water usage has been right in line. Highly recommend these locks.

I doubled this up in addition to a faucet lock just to prevent people from attempting to use my water in a downtown townhouse.
