No modification needed and it has worked great since. **Q: Is this the same as the xenon control module for when you need to replace your entire headlight assembly and modules? I would need 2, is there 2?** A: Yes, this is. It is the unit that powers the light bulb. You would need two if replacing it on both headlights. **Q: Does this module work on adaptive xenon headlight ?** A: It sure does! I got one for my 2008 335i and it worked just the same as the OEM one. **Q: if i used it the warning light in the dash disappears? no error alert?** A: Yes! If the cause of your warning light is the ballast, replacing it with this ballast will solve that problem. There will not be an error alert once you change it out for a working ballast. Thank you. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/2252114-xenon-hid-ballast-for-2006-2008-bmw-3-series-63126948180](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/2252114-xenon-hid-ballast-for-2006-2008-bmw-3-series-63126948180) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
