JENOLITE Stain Blocker Spray Paint White 400ml Damp Seal Anti Mould Paint

I’ve tried all sorts of sprays and paint (including some well known brands) on the damp patches in my kitchen and guess what? Yep, after a few days the damp reappears. The damp stain is from an old leak in the kitchen, so in hope rather than expectation, I bought this spray. It was the only I haven’t tried after all! Well, it has been a revelation. Firstly, it is easy to use. The nozzle allows for precision spraying and even coverage. It does dry quickly, but I left it for a few days anyway. Allow for plenty of ventilation as this stuff stinks. It’s a small price to pay for the prevention of damp patches though. Secondly, paint over. As you can see from the photos it is pretty easy to paint over but you need two coats. It is now impossible to see where the damp patches were as a few quick coats of paint makes it blend in seamlessly with the rest of the wall. Just what I wanted after months of frustration. Time will tell whether it last in the long-term but I’m hopeful. Superb performance and easy to use, even for a DIY novice.

“Used this on a damp stain on the ceiling as a quick fix before getting the area properly repaired and painted. It blocked the stain well and gave good coverage in white, hiding the mark effectively. As with most stain blockers, it is a useful short-term solution rather than a permanent cure for the underlying damp issue, but it does what it says for keeping things looking presentable in the meantime. Application was straightforward and dried reasonably quickly. Good value as a stopgap product.”

We had a leak from upstairs and the resulting water stain was quite large. This product was recommended to me and the result is amazing. So easy to use as well. I needed to apply a few layers and now painted over the area very successfully. Very impressed!

Stain blocker (white) used to cover stains on a patio doors covers well but our stains needed couple of sprays very strong aroma used masks while working although patio doors there was enough ventilation although small stains rather strong it needed 3 sprays to cover stains. Covered well pleased with product would recommend

An excellent product to block out an unsightly water stain on my ceiling prior to repainting. Easy to use and instructions easy to follow. Keep area of use well ventilated. Overall, good value for money and certainly does the job.

This stain blocker works well. Quite strong smelling though so make sure the room you are spraying in is well ventilated while applying and for a good hour after.

Writing this review two years after using the product, I can confirm that the area sprayed has not had any recurrence of mildew. You can actually tell where I stopped spraying the paint, as this winter’s mildew has appeared directly adjacent to the boundary, but none at all on the area treated with this paint. So make sure you do the whole wall if you can. Great product!

This product is excellent . Good coverage on ceiling with water stain. Scent is strong as it kills mildew as well and works as a promaer. For small areas it may do the trick without topcoat but only time will tell. Waters stains had good coverage with one spray today. Tomorrow we shall see if more is needed. I recommend fast shipping by merchant!

Ich habe sas Spray in der Garage genutzt. Die Deckkraft ist super, aber ich hatte sas Auto weiter weg gestellt, da der Sprühnebel bei der offenen Garage nicht gerade wenig war. Die Langzeitwirkung wird zeigen ob das Spray seine Arbeit macht, aber im ersten Moment ist alles top abgedeckt und sehr weiß.
