Unmatched fresh flavor, perfect hearty texture, and the ultimate certified gluten-free oat!
I purchased the Anthony's Organic Rolled Oats 3 lb Bag to find a reliable, clean breakfast staple, and they are exceptional. These 100% whole grain, old-fashioned flakes are batch-tested and verified gluten-free, making them completely safe for anyone managing celiac disease or severe gluten sensitivities. They have a remarkably clean, unflavored profile with zero added sugars or synthetic ingredients, tasting noticeably fresher and less dusty than standard grocery store canister brands. The structural performance of the flakes holds up beautifully during cooking, absorbing liquids evenly without dissolving into a slimy mush. They maintain a satisfying, hearty chew whether you simmer them on the stovetop for 5 to 7 minutes or prep them as cold overnight oats with fruit. The heavy-duty 3-pound bulk bag is excellent for high-volume kitchens, keeping the contents perfectly shielded from kitchen moisture so they stay free-flowing and fresh down to the very last scoop. It is a premium, versatile grain that works flawlessly for baking, morning bowls, or homemade oat milk.

sensitve celiac, had this for breakfast for weeks without trouble, yummy.
I'm a sensitive celiac, this is certified gluten free, purity protocol, so I'm able to eat it without trouble. I have probably gotten several packs of it and had it daily without trouble. the 3 pound bag lasts a good while, it takes a minute or so to microwave, quick to cook on the stove as well, it's fresh and for a 3 pound bag I feel like the price to the amount you get allows large portions.

WHY five stars - like PUMPKIN? a tip at the end oh and tip re MUSHY oatmeal
I have tried Quaker Organic Old Fashioned, Bob's Red Mill and now Anthony's. Just tried Anthony's for first time today. PRICE - with inflation, and not wanting to get my weight in oatmeal for a discount, price was good. QUANTITY- THREE POUNDS is a good amount for one person. Says 27 servings when using a half cup. I don't have it EVERY day, but eat it pretty often. and what does price and quantity matter if you don't like the TASTE/SMELL - I liked the taste a lot and figured I would, because whenever I open a bag of something like oatmeal, walnuts, any type of dried goods, I want to get a good whiff right when I open it. You know how sometimes you open a bag and whatever it is just smells...stale or old? This smelled good! Tastes good. TEXTURE - OK my problem with Quaker Organic was I originally liked it, but was finding hulls/husks WAY TOO MUCH. You know the bits that are kind of yellow and almost impossible to chew and not pleasant? Didn't find any of that issue with Anthony's, that was a big plus. IF you are finding it MUSHY, you're cooking too long. This cooks much faster than most. It takes maybe 5 minutes. I look at it and can tell if it looks cooked, but still has the shape of oats, so try just cooking for a shorter time. TIP if you like pumpkin! I take a can of pumpkin (regular kind with no spices or sugar, just pumpkin) and pour in ice cube trays and freeze. I use for smoothies a lot and sometimes for oatmeal. I add a bit of nutmeg, ceylon cinnamon, I use liquid stevia for sweetener, but whatever you like. I put the frozen cube or cubes in my oatmeal bowl and then pour the hot oatmeal in. Add the spices and sweetener to taste and then top with walnuts or pecans. OH and I never use milk or anything on my oatmeal. I cook it a little less, add a little less water so it's the consistency of cookie dough. it's like a healthy dessert! I sometimes use frozen wild blueberries instead. If you add to the bowl before your piping hot oatmeal and stir, doesn't take long to thaw berries and cool oatmeal.
