Westcott X-Drop Vinyl Composition Backdrop - Vintage Gray by Glyn Dewis (5'x7')

There is no doubt about two things. 1) It's a nice backdrop 2) I definitely bought the wrong one.1) it does its job very well. It fits the X - drop system perfectly. The colour is vintage grey which in fact looks pale blue in the images I took. But I didn't mind too much.2) The reason I bought the X- drop system is for portability. This backdrop is not, for my purposes, portable. When I tried to take it on location in my medium sized family car, I found it difficult to fit in even with the back seats collapsed. Because it is vinyl, it can't be folded, only rolled in the packaging it arrived in. It's 5 foot long and quite heavy!I did eventually manage to get it in through the back doors.......just. It was good job no-one else was in the car with me.I'm afraid I won't be taking it on location again. If I could have my time again I would buy the canvas version of the backdrop which presumably can be folded into a more manageable travel pack.So it's my fault for buying the wrong version. So be warned, if you are intending to buy this item make sure you also buy a large family car or invest in a roof rack.Sadly, I'd attempted to use the item so according to Amazon's T&C I couldn't return it. But if there is anyone out there who would like a cut price version of this backdrop and would like to collect it from me you are welcome to it.

*EditA delay in delivery and some fedex issues aside, the backdrop finally arrived and I’m very happy with what I’ve seen so far. Came in a long cardboard tube, rolled neatly. So no unwanted folds or wrinkles. And the tube serves as a great storage/transport case.Set up is easy and the backdrop is robust and feels like high quality. It’s a lighter grey than I initially imagined but looking forward to testing it out.
