When I read the reviews of other steak knives it seemed to me that even high priced ones with wonderful ergonomic handles didn't get reviews that justified their high prices. These knives are not gorgeous and not designed to impress shallow or wealthy friends at a dinner party. They don't have wide ergonomic handles and the steel isn't extremely thick, so they flex a bit if you really pressure them sideways. But they're SUPER sharp, don't seem to have a weakness for rust, and don't have any issues with the handle wanting to come apart like other more expensive knives on Amazon. If I could compare them to another product I appreciate for its sheer, simple, humble utility, I'd compare it to a Mora knife with the plastic and rubber grippy handle and small ferro rod and cheap looking plastic sheath as compared with really expensive survival knives like my B.O.B. Fieldcraft survival knife or my Ka-Bar: You probably wouldn't baton a wrist-thick log in half with the Mora like you might do with the others, and you're not going to impress any knife-purist friends with it, but it has a GREAT edge, holds it pretty well, and costs like 1/4 of what those other two cost so you can keep one in your car, one in your tool bucket, one on your go bag, and one in your tackle box and be super happy.

These knives are the sharpest you can buy for the price and they stay sharp for years. I had a green handled one for years and it is still sharp. So I looked on the blade and saw a faint "ALFI" brand name. I found them on Amazon and ordered the 12 pack! I cut my thumb trying to take one of them out from the bubble-pack they are packaged in! Be careful as they are extremely sharp...!!!Now I have them for two kitchens, two campers, and my camping kit.

These knives do everything and are so sharp bread veggies meat leather don't matter this is the best knives I ever used !!

I recently received my order of Alfi steak knives and boy are they sharp!! I’ve bought knives from Alfi for years and these are amazing! They will cut through just about anything. I have a wooden knife rack in my silverware drawer and these are the first knives I go to for any cutting or slicing I need to do: meat, cheese, vegetables, flower stems, plastic bags, cardboard boxes, and on and on. The blades are sharp as everyone describes (but oddly not too sharp on your skin if you run your finger over it gently it feels not sharp) it's just the handles are a bit small, flat, short FOR ME and my limited mobility fingers. I will try to get used to them as they are awesome and the colors make them easy to find on the counter or in the drawer. I gave a 4 for sturdiness as the blade does bend a little but it doesn't need to be super rigid because the blade does all the work.

Good quality product. A bit expensive but worth it because of the quality.

Like I said, it's sharp but the angle of the seration and knife taper makes the knife not want to travel in a straight path, and instead to right and I am left handed so it's travelling into my right fingers. Victorinox Swiss serrated round 6 pack is the best knives I've found but they are double the price too. Would probably never buy these ones again but they do work.

Aftsr one tine in the washing machine the knif started to get dammaged and the steel is clearly not stainless
