Understanding the Dreams You Dream Revised and Expanded: Biblical Keys for Hearing God's Voice in the Night

We met Ira Milligan years ago when he stayed at our house. He was very fascinating and gave us a meaning to a dream we had. Years later it came to pass just as he said. I have his original book and wanted to get the updated one. I like the new revised one and it is not only the best one on the market but the easiest to use. If you have a color or object or animal or anything else you can remember in the dream, you can go right to that area in the book and see what it means, then he also backs it up in scripture. The book is laid out like a dictionary. It is very plain, concise, easy to understand and I haven't found anything else like it ion the market. I highly recommend it.

This book is great to have on hand at all times! I have it on my kindle/iphone and it comes in handy so much! It is a basic outline of dream interpretation. My favorite part about this book is the diligence in description of each thing. I love that each thing has a verse to go with it and I also like that if you can't find the exact thing you are looking for, they usually give you a reference to look to. I have maybe once or twice not found something i was looking for in this book. Aside from those two obscure times everything has been in this book. It is a great guide for beginners and very biblical in the interpretations, which is very important to me. I would highly recommend this book. I use it at least once a month.

I was having dreams and wanted to understand them on a spiritual level. I told a young lady about them and she told her dad who is a pastor of a church. He told me to get this book and I tell you this book has been great and i would most definitely recommend this book for anyone.

I appreciate the gift God has given them to provide some clarification on some common dream components. I hope this encourages readers to seek His understanding first and use this and other resources to supplement.

This book is an excellent tool to help you interpret dreams. Its easy to understand language equips you to understand how to look at the dream and how to dissect it. Then, at the back is a comprehensive dictionary of common symbols you may encounter in a dream or vision. The dream symbol part is divided up by major topics so you can look up "red" in the "COLOR" section, for example or look up "nurse" under the PEOPLE" section.It is very easy to use which means you will actually use it!I have purchased other dream interpretation tools from other ministries that were expensive and difficult to use. I tend not to go to those resources as a result. Not so with this one.I have purchased this book before and because I love it so much, I purchased this updated version not only for myself, but as gifts to give away to others.I wouldn't be without this valuable resource!

I bought this book because I started having dreams that spoke to something deep inside of me. Psalm 42:7 says "Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me." Joel 2:28 states "I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions." I grew up in a God-fearing home which didn't talk or know much about things like dreams, visions, gifts of the Spirit, etc. So, when I needed help figuring out what God was trying to say to me through dreams I didn't feel I could ask any of my family. I decided to ask a few close friends and they pointed me toward this book. I have to say that this book has been used by God to change my life. God showed me the condition of my own heart through dreams and brought me to a place of true repentance. I am still growing in Christ but thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ, the Bible, and this book my walk with Christ has deepened. If you are just starting in your journey of listening to God through the language of dreams, my advice is to be prepared to be humbled. It may not be fun to see your heart's true condition (which we all think of our own heart as pure but sadly many like myself have been deceived by ourselves) but in time the Lord will lift you up and you will see Him for the loving & merciful Savior and King that He is. Most of all, you will see that you are loved by Him truly. Cheers!

I was looking for a book to help me understand spiritual meaning of dreams. This book gave good insight and it was backed up by scriptures. There were many dream symbols although it could have been a little more detailed. Overall I enjoyed the book and it will answer a lot of reader's questions regarding dreams.

It's not what I expected. It's great that it has scripture, the dream meanings though are mostly not good

Understanding the Dreams You Dream came to my door less than 48 hours after I ordered it.It gives you a new understanding of why we dream and their meanings from a Biblical perspective.The symbols that are explained are extensive and is a must have for anyone who wants to understand this phenomenal way that God speaks to us.My ten year old is waiting in line to read this book because she too wants to understand her dreams.A Family library must have.

Yes very interesting little Biblical dream book. A very interesting way of looking at the subject. Gives lots of scriptural reference and is Biblical based. Very interesting and has no reference to anything you may have read before. worth the read and I shall keep it on my book shelf as an excellent little reference book.
