The 1 star review goes to the lack of attention to manufacture it and write the logo upside down, no matter when open or closed the name will be always upside down, just take a look on the posted pictures.The bottom plate is attached by the wall plate by its own pressure, there's no screws holding it together, so with enough weight, bumps on the road or chop sea it will detach and drop whatever was in there.Being stationary it can safely hold a large (and full) coffee mug.

I bought this hoping to put it in my extra large 30oz Yeti tumbler but it doesn't fit right. The distance between the clips and the tray is an inch too far and the Tumblr sits crooked. It's still holds in place and does not scratch.I also use my Contigo which it holds perfectly I did see a couple scratches but that was on a 16 foot boat in really rough water and it got dislodged.It does fit the 20oz tumbler perfectly.I've had this on my boat for a couple months I don't see any rust and everything still works perfectly. The little clips slide in and out to hold the cup but they are not super smooth and they are not spring loaded so they will work themselves out a bit.Overall in my opinion this is the best option on the market. I've tried the plastic ones and they work okay but your cup always falls out and they look cheap. This one looks way better and has rubber tubes on the clips to protect your mug and a rubber mat in the tray that your tumbler sits on. I think this is by far the best-looking and most functional option.One thing I thought about was be careful where you put this because it is heavy duty and if you were to bump into it on rough seas it could easily put you in a bad way...Last thing - it's in one of the pictures but not the other two, etched in giant capital letters is AMERI-MADE all accross the front when it is unfolded. For a while I thought I said American-made which was fine and maybe that's what it's supposed to mean but it does seem a little much. If you scroll through all the photos I think it's the last one again it's not a big deal but I do notice it.

These are a great purchase. We mounted them in our home next to the bed and the couch. I had an issue with only one of them that the beverage arms wouldn't stay elevated. The seller promptly replaced it. Great for keeping pets and children from knocking cups over. Convenient. Made with high quality. Easy to install, even comes with screws. Because of the gap you can use this with a cup that has a handle as well, and it's large enough to adjust to fit most any size cup. I haven't had a cup that it doesn't fit so far. You can just as easily set a cup on it without using the beverage arms as well, but then you don't have the spill protection they offer. They nicely fold up when not in use. It's a really clever addition and I'm surprised you don't see them in more homes.

Hard to understand how anyone likes this. The company fails on assembly quality after using good quality parts. All the assembly grinding is done wrong. If I had a machine shop available to dis-assemble the unit, re-grind the pins so springs operate properly, then I might have a great product. Why such a messed up assembly?1. it takes 2 hands to open and get arms to stay upright so you can put your cup in. Hard to do in a car if you are driving...2. Cant just lower the arms to close the holder, you must push the arms in so unit can close or arms hold unit open.3. Product edges are stainless and sharp so you can cut yourself unless you take a file to treat edges.

It is pretty and shiny. Very solidly built, heavy. Th problem is that the "spring" tension required to keep the holder part in position is very weak. I disassembled it to try to increase the tension provided by the cut metal "spring". The problem is that the metal used is too soft to hold any tension.That's all I have.

I’d give it 5 stars ⭐️ if it DiD NoT have, “AMARINE MADE” upside down engraved on it. What’s the point of that? That takes away from it’s aesthetics and is just stupid.It functions well, however you might need your own, better quality screws to attach it?!? Otherwise, it’s one of the best on the market. I’m using it in my Van. I’d buy another if it wasn’t for the stupid engraving on it.

I was looking for a fold up cup holder that would be durable, well made, look nice, and hold a larger beverage. This fit the bill. It's adjustable from the size of a soda can out to a 32 oz powerade bottle. That and where the black plastic holders that last me about a week and a half before I break them don't really add anything to the boat this holder really looks nice. I've read reviews about some of the components rusting in salt water. If fish fresh water. No issues there for me yet and it's been real wet several times. Seems to hold things nice and secure too.Brian W.

After having several plastic cup holders smashed by van drivers. I finally discovered this marine cup holder made of stainless steel. Other rollators for handicapped elders are made from 1" tubular frame. The Oasis Space Rollator has an odd but stronger frame, and plastic cup holders do not attach well if at all, and then are subject to damage. With a little adaptation using nuts and bolts, we had success. Happy day!
