I bought this for my 3 years olds hamster and it’s very durable and absolutely adorable!!! The size to great and the hamster loves it!!!! I’d definitely recommend this!

I love this cage! I've been keeping hamsters since 1983, and most fun cages don't hold up to real use. Not this one! It's super cute, and so different than anything in US pet shops. But betterthan that it's well made! The cage is roomy with plenty of room for a Syrian hamster. (Although the wheel and water bottle may be on the small side for Syrians). You can pick it up without feeling like it will fall apart.The base is nice and deep so you can provide a generous level of bedfimg without worrying it will scatter all over. The ramps and level are sturdy, and easy to clean. If I were to get another Syrian hamster I would absolutely consider this cage again.

This is the cutest cage ever! I love how easy it is to clean. My little dwarf hamster is so happy. The wheel and bed that comes with it is way too small for anything but a very small hamster. The area to run and burrow is great and the yellow ramps are nice and wide. The way it fits together and the quality of the wire and plastic is superior to the other cages I have tried. I definitely recommend.

Do NOT buy this cage!!!!!! Our hamster, Milky, sufficated himself after only 10 days because his "bedroom" had no holes on top and blocked his door. Now all we have is a devasted 11 year old.

Clear instructions, bigger than what i thought it would be. perfect for dwarf hamsters

This cage is really cute, and decently sized. Based on the true space needs of hamsters, I would say it's best for dwarf hamsters, if that. Check out the Hamster Hideout forum's thread under Supplies and Accessories, titled "The case for large cages", if you'd like some food for thought as far as cage size goes. If you have the room, get the Ferplast Favola, minimum - or make your own - there are a ton of tutorials and ideas for that out there.My two main issues : the water bottle is awful. Get rid of it. Aside from the attachment pushing apart the bars a bit (the instructions tell you not to let it do this, but that's physically impossible), the nozzle is too large to fit between them from the outside, so I had to put it inside the cage. That was a minor annoyance, but then I realized the bottle wasn't dispensing water in any decent amount, if it was at all. I had to sit there and squeeze it while my hamster drank. I'd read another comment saying the same, so I was keeping an eye on that, and know it's not just me. No reason to risk dehydrating your hamster. I also don't like the wheel - I feel like the excessively high ridges inside of it are just as bad for tiny paws as a wire wheel. They'll use it, but...get a dish wheel or a silent spinner.My issues with the accessories aside, the cage itself appears well made, will almost certainly appeal to children, and my very small dwarf ham hasn't managed to find a way out (yet). I'll update this review if we run into any issues.

I ordered the Large size Ferplast Hamster Cage. Once assembled the cage is cute, however, there are a lot of little pieces. I dislike the included "house" for a Syrian Hamster (aka. Teddy Bear Hammie). There are no air holes at the top of the white sleeping area and so when bedding is filled in by the hamster they can't breath. Also, the very top shelf is configured funny and leaves gaps in which the hamster could hurt his feet. This is not operator error, I did assemble the cage correctly. The larger cage is big enough for a Syrian Hamster, but not the "house," that looks to be for dwarf hamsters. If the manufacture could fix the fit of the top shelf, put air holes in top of the house and make the opening a little bigger, it would be ok for all types of hamsters (even with all the little pieces you have to assemble).

I have two of these cages. The colors are very bright and cheery and whenever you past by it looks like a mini circus for the hamsters. The sace below the platform is large enough so our rather chubby hamsters can dig tunnels and use as a hide out. I was surprised with how spacious it is in person.
