Works only with digital devices
It would have worked fine but my external devices were not digital so had to return.

ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS!
Product did not work at all. Plugged it directly into the HDMI jack on cabl box, then into the RCA jacks on an older TV and got no signal. Then I checked all the connections and made sure all devices were turned on and set correctly. Still nothing. Then I checked the RCA jacks on the TV by connecting it to a DVD player using a different cord that had RCA jacks at both ends. The TV picked up the signal from the DVD player just fine. The problem was definitely the HDMI to RCA cord. THIS PRODUCT Is JUNK. DO NOT BUY!

FYI
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Didn't work on my samsung TV and it sad that it would. Plugged it in and wouldn't even read it was there.
