These are always my go-to protein bar. I don't like the typical ones on the market that are low or zero sugar, low carb, because they either have a strange amount of fiber or crazy amounts of sugar alcohols that even small bars will give you *bad* stomach problems. For this reason, I also avoid the ones from this brand with sugar alcohols listed on the label. I have a sensitive stomach, so I personally haven't tried those. Based on other reviews, it doesn't seem to bother others much, though. They're not chalky and I can manage the sugar because I don't eat much sugar anymore at all and I count my macros and calories really well so I know how to adjust other foods for the day. They have a great taste and texture, and I've enjoyed these protein bars for 15 years now.

These are excellent bars but please be aware that this is a box of 4, not 8. (Blueberry Cobbler). I had to Contact Amazon and yes they made it right but this listing should be fixed. The protein content is high but so are the calories (400) if that's something that you are concerned with. These were purchased for someone who works at a very demanding job and needs the energy; they're a convenient way to get that. The bars I received were fresh and the taste was excellent, as always, but this is a 4 count package. Not the greatest value.

These protein bars taste great and pack a large amount of protein - excellent when you are trying to increase your protein intake and/or gain muscle when lifting weights

These taste great! I think these are great for traveling, you get most of your protein in one shot and they're not messy, no melting and the texture is like soft granola. Just yummy. I love the fact that I can take them on the plane for a snack and pack in my backpack for hiking, good amount of bars for the money you pay. I think the protein is enough for a meal replacement when hiking.

I use these bars as a staple for my workday. Unbeatable convenience, reliable flavor, portable, and quick to eat and feel full. Usually one bar for breakfast and one bar for lunch gets me through a 9 hour day where I cover 5 miles on foot constantly lifting and moving boxes around without feeling hungry or worn down. Great product, especially with the variety of flavors available. The blueberry cobbler is by far my favorite flavor of these bars. Great texture, sweet but with some tartness from the fruit spread on top, hard to beat. When you can get them from the primary MetRX shop, it's a great value, too. Unfortunately, that's a heavy emphasis on the "when", because I havent been able to snag even one box since August. Getting 4 bars for $9 is great. What isn't great is seeing them constantly sold out, while other vendors on Amazon are selling the same box for $19, because they bought out the entire supply. Amazon needs to do something about these predatory resellers. Letting small businesses thrive in the online environment is great, but letting them do so at the expense of the consumer is not. I will never pay double what the retail price is for a food item. These aren't collectibles or concert tickets, get these resellers in line.

Taste is sweet and texture falls apart. Other than that they're good.
