The tracks are a little difficult to initially put together particularly the big curves and you have to be mindful of the little edges that aren't flush. But outside of that the cars are simple to use, fast, very durable and really cool when they wreck. I recommend buying additional cars, more cars means more chaotic fun. Luckily, you can get the short track circuit with 2 additional cars. One legit concern or down side. Once you get it all up and running things can get pretty loud but definitely worth it.

**Q: im buying this as a gift, what size batteries does it need and how many?**
A: INSTAL 6AA ALKALINE BATTERIES (NOT INCLUDED) 
(NOTE) 3 AA FOR EACH CHARGER. 
You will need 6AA more For the two extra car chargers. 
For a total of 12 batteries if you want to use all Four chargers.

**Q: Are the cars plastic?**
A: Yup, they are made of excellent plastic material that withstands abuse and crashes.  A great race car set.

**Q: Do you have flat track pieces for sale? To make the track bigger??**
A: I do not have any additional pieces of track

**Q: Is it possible to buy just the tracks?**
A: I don’t think so, it all comes in one box set. We found just the cars separately though

I was looking for a slot racer for my 7yr old for Christmas when I came across these. Wow, everything I was looking for in the slot racer and more. The tracks are a little difficult to initially put together particularly the big curves and you have to be mindful of the little edges that aren't flush. But outside of that the cars are simple to use, fast, very durable and really cool when they wreck. I recommend buying additional cars, more cars means more chaotic fun. Luckily, you can get the short track circuit with 2 additional cars. One legit concern or down side. Once you get it all up and running things can get pretty loud but definitely worth it.
