It is saying it is dishwasher safe, but there is a pic of one customer proving that it is not... is that the case?

They are dishwasher safe- but the care and use instructions specifically state not to use a dishwasher if the paint or finish is important to you! Personally I don't wash mine in the dishwasher.

Hi, absolutely not…..! Please do NOT even try. I know the equipment like this that is safe, I have a container that is metal coated with safe protection for microwave use. Again, this item is not safe to put into a microwave
