Battery mouse came with Didn’t last 2 hours, takes AAA batteries but screws are so tight can not get them out to replace the batteries. Both the mouse and remote take batteries.

This is trash. This is the reason our oceans are full of trash. I read instructions. These instructions required a flashlight and magnifying glass to read. They are also generic instructions that could apply to anything electric. Did you know that if you eat the batteries it's not good for you? Don't allow babies to eat the batteries. That's good to know. Also if it doesn't work adjust the antenna. Plug both components into different circuits. Move the devices closer or farther away. It has none of these it's operated by batteries, has no antenna. Also after you tried all these clever methods to fix take it to an experienced electronic technician. That is their advice. Not a word about how it works or what to do after you take it out of the box. Also Amazon should be a little less greedy and look at the products they sell. The comments for this device are not all for the same toy. So we have no idea what the percent of 1 star reviews this product actually has. Nice work Amazon. Do not buy anything from this company. Oh yeah, there is a little button on the bottom of the mouse that is an on/off switch. It was too much trouble to put that in the directions. The button didn't work. Maybe they knew that so didn't mention it. DO NOT BUY!!!!

Stopped working today. Changed all batteries but will only work in forward movement if you get it started with a push. Doesn't work in reverse. Two kitties liked it but one was a little rough with it. Maybe it didn't like the roughness.

i absolutely loooove this adorable little mouse, but my cat spooks easily and wont play with anything if it's too loud this mouse doesn't have any added noises, but the sound that comes from when it's moving spooks my cat so he unfortunately wont go near it

Doesn't particularly work - included battery went out within twenty minutes of play, and the controller has an extremely tenuous connection with the mouse at the best of times - but it's bizarre movements and general lack of usability did make it really, really funny.

I got this for my three cats and they love it. I'm surprised how well it works for being so cheap. The controls are a little limited (only backwards and forwards) but it gets the job done and my fur babies are happy.

I got this product because I thought it received good reviews. Turns out the reviews are based on several of the seller’s products and not just this one. The remote control mouse is not worth the money. It’s made very cheaply and the controls only go forward and “backward” (clockwise in a circle). It’s not intuitive for a cat to hunt it (because you have to make it go round and round in circles backwards to get it to turn anywhere), and you have to stay within five feet of it or the remote detection is not detected (so you’re probably going to get in the way of the path for your cat to get it). My very active kitten likes to just watch it or barely paw at it—when it works. Half the time it just stops working and I have to turn it off and on, clean the wheels, or sometimes just hit it a little to get it to work again. It’s made very cheaply and I’m guessing its value is less than $5 in how it’s made. Not worth the $15 I spent on it. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it. Note that I’ve only had it for less than a week and it already malfunctions. I’ve used it just twice and I honestly bet it won’t last the month.

My cat loves this. Sweep your floors first though because it will collect cat hair and that will jam up the little wheels. But it’s durable! My cat is rough with this, but it keeps working!

My cats get bored very fast with their toys, but this is one that seems to keep their attention. The trick is to make it act like a mouse flirting with a cat. When the cats think the mouse is cornered or hiding around the corner, that's when they get excited! Of course, for this toy to be beneficial, the human has to be willing to interact. The toy by itself would not be of interest to the cat. I should mention that both the remote and the mouse require batteries. The remote takes two AAA batteries which is not a problem, but the mouse requires three button batteries, (like watch batteries) size AG13, or 357, or LR44. And those can be pricey.

The Toy's tire is building up cat hair and human hair which will make the Rat toy stuck and doesn't work. Not worth it, sorry to say

This is a cheap and rubbish product. Any cat with a brain will be able to instantly determine the 'mouse' looks nothing like a mouse and will be more interested in the loud click sound the remote makes when you press it. Do not buy. Your money better spent elsewhere. Complete waste of time and money.

Spent $35 on the Race n Chase Electronic Mouse Toy and this is a scam. Ratings are heavily inflated because of the fact they lump all their products together and take advantage of the amazon rating system so you don't know which one of their products is good or bad. This one is so bad. Doesn't work, doesn't move, poor quality. Waste of money. Don't waste your time with these scammers.
