Let me preface this review by saying...I’m an adult, but brand new to skating (meaning I had never even skated when I was young). After an hour long plunge into the Instagram world of “roll bounce” (cool kids skating to cool songs doing cool dance moves), I’d realized I’d missed my calling. So I set out on a mission to find a pair of skates that could 1. Look great paired with whatever cool outfit I had on 2. Provided ankle support for my terrible 30+ Year old ankles and 3. Came with a magic wand that instantly allowed me the ability to skate like the kids I saw on the interwebs.... these skates hit the nail on the head for the first 2 points (while also being comfortable) but it missed the mark on the last point. Upon putting on the skates, I was not instantly able to roll bounce and look cool. In fact I immediately fell (who knew skates could roll out from under you 😜?). So I say all of this to say, get these skates, their great, but get some pads too if you’re new to this skating life!!!

Oof. Okay, so just unboxed and was ready to try these out today. I was a bit concerned about the random bearing that popped out of the box, but it gratefully did not come off the skates, it was an extra(of which there were.. two? Fine). I pull out the skates and immediately note the rather flimsy material, the slightly janky stitching, and the missing rivet. I set to loosening the bearings as they're set tight, but then I note that it's the bearing itself. I remove the wheel entirely, pinch the bearing between my fingers and and spin the wheel with my other hand and it doesn't even complete one turn. Confusion. At this point, I'm wondering if these skates are safe, but I'm gonna try them out. Then I notice the sole already separating from the skate. Ohhh, hell naw. We are not dying today. The only good thing about this purchase is that it was delivered to *my* home, unlike a certain recent package.EDIT: I returned them without trouble to Amazon for a refund and paid a small amount more for skates from a reputable company, Impala Skate, who just restocked yesterday. GO THERE!

Before I got the skates I was reading the comments and they're half negative and half positive but i thought i should say my opinion.I honestly thought the wheels would be a hard plastic but it's was just the right material for indoor skating. They do run a little big but I got my regular shoe size and if I wear thicks socks it works perfectly fine. The stopper works perfectly fine.. if you are roller skating really fast it's tops perfectly and on time. They gave me an extra tool to adjust the wheels and the tool was perfectly new and it was not rusted they also gave me a bag that I could fit all my skating supplies in the bag was perfect, nothing wrong with it. The stitching on the skates was perfectly fine I thought that it would be falling apart because the comments i had read but was perfectly fine and the bottom of the shoe , I was scared it was going to be a flimsy plastic but it's a very hard plastic with a lot of support for my weight. You have full control over the directions you are going on with the skates. These skates are not for doing crazy tricks, if want to do tricks i will say get an metal bottom. Overall this is an perfect skate for beginners.

The item had a slight different style than what was online. Not happy at all. And to return back to seller from it costs $80! The same as the skates cost.

Size down probably 2 sizes. These do seem like quality skates, but the ones i got were too large. Unable to exchange as you have to pay for shipping back to china which is twice the cost of the item which is very disappointing. I wish I could get my size

First off, this runs pretty big so if you do order these to give them a chance, do a half-size smaller than what you normally wear. For my own experience, I ordered a Womens 10/ Mens 8 which usually is my size but I have so much empty space in the toe area and even when the laces are pulled tight the skates feel loose. Additionally, the craftsmanship is poorly made and the front part of the shoe wasn't even glued down fully. I put them on my feet, and these skates have NO ability to rock or lean at all - they are completely flat and do not move which is not preferable, when you lean into the sides of the skates it is hard to turn because they don't lean at all to the side which you want to move too.There are random noticeable pieces of whatever foam material used in the cheap lining of the skate sticking out of random places and loose threads. I've already purchased another pair that was a little more expensive and will be returning these since the quality is so poor even for the low price. Buy a nice pair instead of these to skip the time and energy needed to return and purchase a nicer pair once you're underwhelmed by these skates.
