Can’t live without it
I’m mostly Vata with Pita being a very close second… I first got the Vata and was kind of put off by the smell… I love warming stuff and over time the smell got better but then I decided to try the Pita one since I am so close to being mostly Pita as well and I instantly LOVED the smell… I also love the cooling effect it gives me… I love everything hot and warm (hot baths hot showers saunas hot yoga… You name it) but I am naturally an aggressive/ angry person so I have to do cooling/cold/calming stuff (Cold dunks in the bath/cold showers/meditate/gentle yoga/spine stretching) and this stuff is something I really can’t imagine living without now that I’ve almost gone through my first bottle I already have my second one so I don’t go without! 10/10 recommend esp if you’re more of a almost equal parts Vata/Pita - Mandi

strong scent - but it dissipates quickly
Love this oil - it absorbs well, and yes, it has a strong scent, but it dissipates quickly. Great for massage or post-bath moisturizing.

Amazing texture! Easily absorbed!
The texture is great and the oil gets absorbed really nicely. The only thing is the smell - it’s not bad if you’re used to Ayurvedic herbal smells, which I am. In fact I like that they didn’t use any fragrance to mask the smell of the natural botanicals. Massaging this oil before shower makes me feel relaxed and rejuvenated. It’s a nice healthy way of pampering myself and showing some self love.

I received rancid oil
I should have trusted my nose. As soon as I opened it, I thought it might be "off". The oil had clearly passed its shelf life or had been exposed to high heat at some point. I talked myself into using it, thinking it might just be that it was simply scented in a way I don't like. But I used it for a week and it gave me a terrible reaction. My skin had tiny, raw bumps all over that stung when I showered. I switched oils to a different type and the reaction subsided. It was definitely this product. Maybe if I’d gotten a newer bottle that hadn’t gone rancid, it might have worked for me. As it stands, I won’t be purchasing this again. To note: I mix EOs and body care products as part of my studio offerings. I am used to organic scents and love woody, musky, “organic” smells. I didn’t expect it to be perfume like. But rancid oil is what it is. I really should hav trusted my nose.

Perfect for Pitta
I love this oil. Very soothing and a nice smell to it. Perfect for Pitta constitutions. Dries quickly on the skin and makes my skin soft.

Unpleasant Smell
I did not care for the smell of this at all. For me, it smells kinda woody and musty, like an abandoned cabin with water logged wood floors.

Smells like Chinese fried rice
I’m not a fan of smelling like Chinese food so I didn’t resonate with the smell but the oil felt clean.
