Not worth it
We needed this for our school age children that use pencils daily. This is the quick and dirty method to get math homework done but we plan to replace this soon. If you are using a brand new, never sharpened pencil forget this. It bogs down quickly. The tip is never completely sharp although our kids don't care... they'll just stop two problems in to resharpen the pencil again. Our biggest gripe is how rough the sharpened portion is. We are having to use this to get it as close as we can then use a cheap hand sharpener to smooth it out.Ultimately it's kind of a waste of money. It simply isn't powerful enough, no matter how fresh the batteries are, and the cut is bad. It might work okay on really soft, non solid wood pencils.

Initially I was very pleased with this product but after using it awhile, the batteries wear down pretty quickly and it is very noisey to use. I prefer using the electric ones and probably wont purchase another battery operated sharpener.

Bad Product!!
Thai product does no way deserve a wile star, however I don't know how to make it a half star! I was super excited to get this product. It sounded just what a was looking for. It sounded like it was a professional model and that it would be good for colored pencils, HA!!! I am so beyond disappointed with this product! The material it is housed in seems very cheap and would break very easily. The blades do not "shave" the wood away from pencil lead in a nice smooth manner, it CHEWS it away! Causes several of my leads to break, and now some of my pencils now have wood all the way down the lead on one side. So frustrating. I will not recommend this product to anyone and I can guarantee you that I will not be reordering this product or any other product from that particular company again! I was so mad and frustrated I just threw it straight into the trash where it belonged to begin with!!!!😠😠👎🏼👎🏼

it is very good, only the issue that you have to use ...
it is very good, only the issue that you have to use high drain batteries otherwise would be slow and you feel it like it is not functional as suppose to be.Update: 9/12/2017: we did not use itna lot, however, the battries die quickly as you cant not use it unless using new batteries which will last for few times only. Ill try to switch it from battries to power electric. Hope i will be able to make it as hope it will work

you cant beat it for the price. cuts evenly, sharp and clean, easy to use. the only negative: it may not be as fast as some other pencil sharpeners. however, that does not mean it is slow.; it is very efficient. but there are some that are faster,; with a much higher price tag. this one works great. don't pay more.

Cheap & Efficient
Extremely light and compact. Sharpens pencils to an incredibly sharp point. Fast and efficient. My only difficulty was loading the batteries. There are + and - signs embedded in the battery compartment, but the instructions are confusing. Otherwise, a really good product at an excellent price.

I am not sure if I am doing something wrong but it don't seem like rocket science to get it to work
this did not work for me. I read all the other reviews and was excited when I received this sharpener however it wont work for me. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong but it don't seem like rocket science to get it to work. Wont sharpen the tip and takes forever to sharpen even a small amount with fresh batteries.
