Old World Spices Rub Some Butt Carolina Style Barbecue Seasoning

Picked up “Rub Some Butt” as a gag gift for a buddy—clever name, couldn’t resist. Forgot to pack it on the trip, so I gave it a shot myself during a pork butt smoke on 7/20. One whiff when I cracked it open and from the aroma I knew: this rub means business. I tasted it to check the salt level, amazing flavor profile and spot-on for a big cut of meat. I used it like I would Kosher salt with 16 mesh black pepper for a bold bark. Texas style with a Carolina twist. Pecan wood for smoke sealed the deal. After 12 hours on the Weber Smokey Mountain, the result? Unreal. Sure, I’m probably partial—but my friends were blown away too. Fair price, fantastic flavor. It’s officially made into my BBQ rub rotation.

The. flavor and zest that this rub adds to a variety of our foods makes it our favorite. We did look on Amazon, but realized that the price for the container was about double what we could get if for at. a retail store. We ended up purchasing at Cabella. We've also found it at Lowes
