This is the best, quietest, heater light vent I've seen in anyone's house. I have personally installed 3 in my homes and love them. Some of them are now 10 years old and still working perfectly.Pros:Great heater / ventSuper quietGreat manual and documentation (not written in chinese english)Best customer service EVER. I recently installed one and a part broke during installation. I used the Nutone online form to submit a request and a REAL PERSON contacted me and she had the part shipped in one business day at NO COST.Spare parts are readily available.One suggestion, is to follow the maintenance process listed. They are easy to clean, but the MUST be cleaned every few years. the heater element will burn out, especially if used heavily, if you don't vacuum the dust off of it. The entire cleaning took maybe 1 hour, but the unit performance after cleaning was like brand new.Lastly, just make sure you read specs and have appropriate wiring and know how to install things yourself. I could see inexperienced people having trouble. These weren't too hard to install, as long as you take your time and read the instructions.

We've had this bathroom fan for at least 3 weeks and love it. I had researched sone levels and definitely wanted a quiet fan that would keep the bathroom mirrors from fogging up. This products does all that and then some. When we turn on the fan before starting a shower it's so quiet we actually question ourselves if we remembered to turn it on. We use the night light feature with amber light bulbs for the kids so they are not startled awake for late night bathroom runs. The heater is super hot and the girls have dried their long wet hair by standing under it for a certain amount of time. I want to include a total cost compilation so that you can better understand additional costs involved before making your purchase.We bought 2 fans for our bathrooms. We needed air conditioning workers to come out to install it because you're supposed to have a tube that penetrates the roof to let the steam circulate out of your bathroom and outside of your home to prevent mold. Also we had to have an electrician come out of change the bathroom switches to a 4 function switch instead of what we had previously.2 fans - $541.44Air Conditioning workers - $685.00Electrician - $474.86Total - $1,701.30Overall highly satisfied with the product and would recommend to anyone doing a new bathroom fan. Just realize that their may be some additional costs.

I replaced a newer fan that was so loud (4 sones), it drove me crazy. This one is so perfect and so quiet. I would highly recommend buying a timer for the wall switch. If you use the exhaust fan, it's so quiet you might walk out of the bathroom and forget it's on all day long. The heater is a little louder than the exhaust fan, but still very quiet. We hired an electrician. Even though we replaced a fan with the same functions and same amount of wires and switches, the colors didn't match and the instructions were confusing.

We purchased this exhuast fan in April 2021 for our new bathroom. We really like how the fan is running so quietly. But a little over a year into it, the heater element stopped working. Now we just have no use for the heating unit. It only blows cool air now. If you would a quiet exhuast fan, I would recommend getting the one without the heating unit. Overall, it is a nice, quiet exhaust fan for the bathroom.

Features are outstanding. Both my wife and I really like it. Was not easy for me and I am an advanced do it yourself person. I opted to run a new 20 amp circuit and not vent outdoors. Be sure you have room above the unit and access to run a new circuit as remodel wiring is best for this project. You may need professional help if you run a new circuit. Very quite operation and I installed over the toilet and the night light helps find the jon at night and prevent falls. Humidity in the bathroom reduced so the mirror does not fog when the heat is on. Great air flow and can barely hear it run for exhaust mode. Only improvement would be to offer Bluetooth speakers as a option to work with smart phone music.

This exhaust fan was a great upgrade over my old, obsolete exhaust fan. I love the functionality of this unit. The heat is a HUGE bonus since I don’t have heat in my bathroom. It looks great! FYI, no bulbs are supplied so you need two regular bulbs and a special nite light bulb.My electrician had a hard time installing. Not sure if they went the most efficient route but they got the job done. Since it has a 1,500 watt heating unit, you’ll need to run an additional wire to the CB panel.
