These match my 1990s fireplace doors fairly well and the price was right. I also like the hefty feel to them and they've held up well. The base is nice and heavy to stay in one place. The only complaint is that the center post comes unscrewed in use. I'm going to check that there's a lock washer and add one if there isn't. I think there were 3 normal nuts, but it only called for two. I don't think there's room for a third, but there's room for a thin lock washer.

This fireplace tool set is very easy to assemble. The materials are attractive and they are easy to handle. I am very happy with this purchase.

These tools are well made. The handles are solid and do not unscrew like some cheaper sets do.

I really like these fireplace tools. They were very easy to assemble and look nice with my fireplace and color scheme of the room. They seem to be built well and I expect to use them for many years to come. My only concern is that maybe the base should be just a little larger. One reason I selected this product is because of the plate-like base that will be able to catch any debris that falls from the shovel. However, the base is not quite wide enough, once all tools have been hung, to ensure there is no overhanging of the base of any of the tools. Regardless, the looks, the quality, and the price are winners. I did not find anything as nice in the national home improvement stores!

The set is beautiful and heavy-duty which is what we wanted. We use our fireplace a lot during the cold winter months.
