However, if you want to protect the paint and give it more depth in the finish, I would recommend a clear gloss over the top os the red. Also the more clear coats the deeper the finish. **Q: Can this be used on rc airplane foam?** A: Read the back it tells you all the materials you can use it on. Some rustoleum paints say plastic is ok. Foam may react with it but my guess is that it would work. **Q: Is this good for rims?** A: Yes, make sure you allow to dry 48-72 hours in warmer air **Q: Is the dried product waterproof and scratch-resistant?** A: I believe it is waterproof, since it`s an enamel.
