Great value for the money. The product is good quality, and the pieces fit snug. If the car seems not to move, check the tires. Sometimes get loose. Then no problem. The cars are fast, so you just have to be able to softly throttle. Reminds me of my youth. My 10 year old loves it.

Track does not fit together well, causes electric strips to bend and become junk. Cars have weak magnets and fly off the track. One controller had a wire come off, rendering it worthless. Complete crap…TYCO/AFX this is not…miss the real old tracks. My Son was very disappointed, as it came from Santa :(

My 8 year old loves it. Had some issues out of box , one small piece of the track the metal bar was smashed and out on one end , was able to use pliers hamer and a nail to get back to close to original tunnel form and now track works , 2nd day into playing with it , one of the controllers stopped working , took it apart and the wire came un soldered. i am soldering it now will see if resolves. Cars do fly off the track alot becuase they are too fast for the track but even my 8 year old is learning and having fun trying to keep on track. Directions are not the best , would have given another star if not for the broken piece of track and the controller.

This set is just like the one I had as a kid in the '80s! And now I can share the joy of slot car racing with the next generation. This also seems to be much more reasonably priced compared to the other slot car sets out there. Best bang for your buck right here.

Works great easy to put together.

The detail on the cars are very good. I bought this for my wife as we are big Ford Mustang fans and we wanted to love this set but just couldn't. We used it for about 5 hours and now one of the controllers has stopped responding. It started getting touchy at first but within 20 minutes of that it stopped altogether. Moved the controllers to other lanes and the issue follows the controller. There are some major design issues with the track layout in this set mostly concerning the loops and ramps on the corners. Also the controls are way too sensitive, they are off or full speed with just a very slight difference in pressure on the trigger. There are curves right before or right after the loops that are hard too deal with, cars fly off of the track if not done perfectly. I contacted the manufacturer and all they said was that we needed to practice to be able to keep the cars on the track. Not a lot of fun if have to practice for hours before you can play with a toy :( Disappointed and will be returning it.
