## Description

MATOW Coffee Dosing Ring - 51mm Stop wasting coffee and disappearing your work surface - with a coffee dispensing funnel, all the coffee goes into the portafilter basket. Attach the coffee dosing ring to your portafilter and then grind directly into the basket without mess or waste. For better consistency and better distribution, use the Matow 51mm Coffee Dosing Funnel. Perfect for home or espresso bar. Specifications: Material: 304 stainless steel. Diameter: 54mm Colour: silver. Weight: approx. 100g Package Size: 7 * 7 * 4cm / 2.75

Review: Perfect seamless fit - This dosing funnel is solid stainless steel with good weight, not overly heavy, but of quality. It attaches to my portafilter basket perfectly, with a strong seal which prevents coffee grounds from spilling in between the basket and funnel and falling on the counter (making a mess). It also fits my 58mm baskets properly. The design is smooth without unnecessary crevices/creases, so it's easy to use and easy to clean. Great price, rather inexpensive for the quality. Definitely recommended!
Review: Very nice piece - Solid tool. Has a very nice heft to it. Weighs just under 5oz. 137g. There will be no bend or flex to it. Smooth satin finish. It's pretty! I ordered a 58mm tool to fit my Rancilio Sylvia. The funnel fits perfectly in my double basket if the basket is OUT of the portafilter. When IN the portafilter, fit is a tad off, does not fit flush to/inside the filter. A second Rancilio basket fits just a tad different...with the funnel fitting perfect with the second basket in AND out of the portafilter. Both baskets from Rancilio. Point is, the fit of the funnel to two different same-brand baskets is not identical. While the fit to the slightly 'off' basket is not enough to make a difference in the function of the funnel, I think it's good to be aware that the machining/mfg differences between two baskets can make a difference in how this tool fits in your situation. Not a huge thing. Calipers show a .002" in edge-to-edge diameter difference between the two baskets, 2.754"/2.756". I did not measure the depth/radius of the bead on either basket; that could make a difference. The funnel I got is NOT at all magnetic. Yes, it is stated as being 'stainless'...but not all stainless IS non-magnetic. This funnel will make the use of a new WDT stirrer MUCH easier. I do use a doser-less Rocky grinder.

## Features

- SUITABLE FOR 51mm Portafilter-Designed to compatible with 51mm Portafilter including EC-680m, ecp3220, ec685, EC702, decica EC680M, dedica 680, coffee emcp50, ecp3420, 6601S, eco 311 and other 51mm machines.
- AVOID MESS AND WAST- Coffee Dosing Ring stop wasting coffee and messing up your work top – with a coffee dosing funnel all the coffee goes into the portafilter basket, severely reduces the mess and difficulty in loading and tamping.
- 304 STAINLESS STEEL MATERIAL-MATOW coffee powder funnel is made of premium 304 stainless steel, non-rust nor corrosive, food grade material, safe to your family’s health.
- EASY TO CLEAN & USE- 51mm portafilter funnel is dishwasher safe, you just rinse it with water and clean it with brush or sponge; As for use, you simply place the funnel atop of your portafilter while grinding, distributing and tamping, and removed funnel quickly when finished.
- ATTACH SNUGLY & IMPORTANT NOTE- This funnel bottom sits on the inside of rim & allows for tamps. The inside diameter is smaller than portafilter basket, so Please NOTE you need to tamp grinds using 49mm tamper not 51mm tamper with the funnel on.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Heavy and beautifully made
*by C***M on April 16, 2024*

I had originally thought a magnetic funnel would be the best choice, but after reading about this one I decided to not get a magnetic one as there were some complaints about them. This funnel fits perfectly on top of my Rancilio Silvia 58mm portafilter with basket and will not slide off sideways. It fits so securely that at first I thought it might be magnetic, but it's not. The stainless steel metal is beautiful, polished and of high quality. It is quite heavy, as it should be. It's smooth on all edges, and obviously very well made. I find it helpful when using my new WDT tool as the higher sides prevent the coffee grounds from falling out. I've been making espresso at home for 19 years, and only just found out about these funnels. I think they are very useful and worth the money.
