It worked. Only issue was the capacitor I received had an orange connector along with the other 3 normal ones. The product page on amazon said nothing about a 4th orange connector. The explanation on how to hook up with the orange connector did not make sense to me so I just used the 3 standard connections (Fan, Herm, Common) and left the orange one empty.

Thinner than the original Capacitor. It's loose at the holder, possibly will replace as it could fall down, been held by wires. Very hot now and waiting for a replacement from another MFR. Working fine, no issue for couple of days.

I have a Tempstar 2.0 ton home air conditioner. This run capacity is a direct replacement ,physical size and capacitance for the compressor motor. I was advised by my service technician that a good policy is to replace the run capacitor at five to six year intervals. He strongly urged me to purchase ONLY Made in USA parts. Pay a little more and install it yourself.

my compressor stopped running, but after replaced with this capacitor, it is back to life again. luckily it was not that the compressor burned...good quality capacitor.

The product is from the same manufacturer of the original, it had a different top but came with instructions on how to connect the wires. Pretty simple and works great. Happy to say that we will not be going through summer without cool air or a dent in the pocket.

Exactly what I needed to replace the old capacitor on my 1998 Rheem condenser. The new one is narrower than the original one so I did have to create a new harness to support the smaller size. Otherwise, this was perfect and I was able to replace it myself without paying overpriced fees.
