Top notch product top notch service
I purchased this solar kit for my motorhome. Easy to install easy to read instructions fast shipping and well packed. Once I got everything hooked up I was having a problem with the charge controller. I contacted the seller he immediately sent out a new charge controller no questions asked and that took care of the situation. I would highly recommend this product and the support the seller offers. I know there are other vendors out there but I would highly recommend Rich solar. I also feel good knowing if I have problems in the future they will stand by their product.

Good panel performance
So far so good. Just installed today in series. With other panels disconnected I’m getting good volts out of them. Not facing sun 100% this time of day but PV input through the mppt has soared to 40V in the few minutes I watched it. 39V at 1.0A right now and 13.9V 4.3A to the batteries. Ya, I’m pleased for first instsll observations. I’ll update over time I’m sure.I can’t rate the PWM cuz I’m running a 40 A mppt. (The cables and pwm will go in my boat)

Buying the kit was cheaper than buying just 2 panels.
This is a great 200 watt kit. I did not use the charge controller as mostly I got this just for the panels and mount clips. I use this kit to charge my solar generator so I didn't really need the charge controller. I will use the charge controller in the future when I add 2 more panels.

Come with everything , my first RV solar kit
Very easy to install, great value. Got everything I need for my sprinter, I am putting 200w on my van. A quick test with 100w with panel on the floor I got 5.1Amp. quality and affordable.

The 30a PWM does not have a AGM battery setting.
I bought this 100watt Rich solar kit because the kit cost less than me buying every thing separately. This kit is about $80 dollars less than for me to buy wires, crimpers and other bits like z brackes. Why i think this is only 3 stars despite the value is because the 30amp PWN has no real instructions and does not have a preconfigured AGM battery setting. and it does not monitor battery tempature. You dont Equalise AGM batteries. So the default USr battery setting could be bad for AGM batteries.the USr (battery) option is confusing 12v okay. but "A01"What does "A01" stand for? why can i set it all the way up to "A99"? so i played with it at "A03" hoping it would limit amp out put to 3amps so i dont cook the battery.I decided to leave at "A01" after playing with it at "A03". "A01" or "A03" does NOT limit amps because at that setting the PWM still put out more than 9amps on a nice +77°f day.So is USr "A01" for setting battety amp hours? like "A35" for a 35aH battery ?I dont know because Rich solar did not include a proper instruction manual nor did they answer my question when i submitted it a week ago. After doing some internet digging and finding no information about Rich's 30a PWM i may just use the GEL battery option because it does not do Equalization.or if i use the user "USr" setting i can go to the amp page and set Equalizatio down to its lowest option if 13.0v that cant do any harm? could it?I would hate to ruined a $80 35aH AGM battery because Rich solars $30 dollar pwm does not come with a real instruction manual.I did boil over some fluid from the battery already with the absorption set to 14.5v on a +77°f day. it turns out my old duracell battery does not like Absorption above 14.2v on a +70°f day.To bad Rich solar's pwm does not come with a battery tempature monitor wire the way epever, renogy and some other charge controllers do, that way i would not be cooking my battery instead of chargeing it.If you need to depend on your battery get a MPPT charge controller. Only use this rich 30a PWM charge controller if you charge your battery some where safe outdoors thats not going to burn up. I would not trust it much. The lack of instructions and PWN features forces you to become a online amateur battery chemist and a part time weather guru to figure out safe settings and conditions to charge your battery. That may grow old over time. Right now this is just a new hobby for me and the hours watching bad youtube videos trying to find more insight into how to properly set Rich's 30a pwm has left me in a fog. Thanks Rich. I may never recover from all the many bad videos i had to watch on youtube. "High guys!"value 3 stars. ★★★. all you had to do is make a good user manual for newbies. That 3 stars is pending my AGM battery does not go up in flames. I sugest that others use a different brand of charge controller. maybe one from a company that also sells the type of batteries you are interrested in using. Rich does NOT look like they sell batteries on Amozon so Rich does not have intetest in answering battery questions. Unlike Renogy. Renogy sells batteries so it more likely for Renogy to respond to battery questions because they need to warranty their brand of battery and make sure their charge controllers work with what they sell. Renogy sells GEL and lifepo4 . so you know they most likely have a charge controller for those type of batteries.(i dont expect Amazon to post this rant.)i dont think Rich will answer or respond to their user manual be useless.Amazon does not have to post this review.this would not be my first review to get rejected.

Broke after 5 seconds
Installed easily, wired easily, turned the system on and it was working properly. Then I turned it off to make an adjustment. Now it won't let the power pass through to operate what is hooked up. It's set to whatever "lightbulb" mode is and only charges the battery. The solar charging works great but I needed help figuring out what the secret combination is with the two buttons...so the energy can be transferred back out of the battery but I've not been able to get a response from customer service. So if youbuy this and it's working don't ever turn it off.
