Review: Good in an emergency - Not the greatest thing but it does work in a pinch, notbgoingbto last a long time though , more of an emergency backup.
Review: Transfered 150g of heating oil, bad reviews are user error - I was skeptical given the mixed reviews but this thing worked a treat. A few tips to have the same success I did: It's meant to go clockwise. Based on some of the pictures of the internals being destroyed and the orientation of the shank, clearly some ran it counterclockwise and jammed up the internals to the point of failure. Use a drill, not an impact driver. Start slow, and scale up the RPMs. I had a minor leak due to the ring clamps provided, I highly reommend replacing them with wider or higher quality ones. Can't attest to the flow rate since I used hoses I had on-hand with roughly a 1/2 inch ID instead of matching the 3/4 in of the pump. Highly worth it for the money if you manage your expectations and don't assume it's indestructable.

**Q: Could I use one of these with a rain barrel**
A: I imagine you could to pump the rain water out.  When the hose is too long it does not work that great. So I would say about a foot of hose is the max

**Q: There is no direction of rotation molded onto the pump body.  Which way is "forward?"**
A: If you take the pump apart you will see the fins are bi-directional and it all depends what setting you have your drill in Forward/Reverse. I will say if you use it in one direction for a while that the fins will where in that way so better to keep you transferring in one direction.
