It's more like a bunch of Ads marketed as a book..Don't want to be too harsh, but I'm extremely disappointed.
Halfway into the book, and still haven't learned anything. Author goes off randomly, often goes on and on about useless & pointless things.Had to actually FORCE myself to finish the book, if you could call it that..it's more like a bunch of Ads marketed as a book..with stories & anecdotes inserted in between.He advertises his services & other products constantly through out the book. Delivers almost no value, extremely general & barely delivers useful information,,Don't want to be too harsh, but I'm extremely disappointed.

Solid ideas, too much self promotion
I'm in food marketing and downloaded this book on Kindle to help me promote my first restaurant client. It was very helpful. I'd advise restaurant managers and those trying to help them to implement these ideas gradually. I'd have given it five stars if it weren't for the fact that the author relentlessly pushes his own rewards program. One mention would have been fine, but it's ongoing. Other than that, this book, was well worth my time to read it, which us much more important than how much it cost.

It's just a bad big advertising for Royalty rewards program.
Might be interesting if you have absolutely NO clue about marketing, otherwise is a complete lost of your time. I find it offensive that every few pages you have an advertising for you to get a "free 5 pro,Orion package" that is just a way to get you to become a member of royalty rewards.

Fantastic book and great advice for the new restaurant owner
This book is spot-on and has some great advice for restaurant owners in all areas of marketing. One thing it doesn't cover as much is the social media strategy other than "do it, and do what is targeted to your guests."Took me a little over a year to learn the lessons from this book the hard way (by barely getting by). Doing most of these now, but it's still got some other new great advice that I will implement. Bought one for my business partners and I know they are going to love it!

An easy read with great transferable ideas to improve profit.
I am not a restaurant owner but a friend of mine just bought one so I looked for some ideas to help him out. This book is filled with plenty of great marketing material that he can use from day 1. In fact the ideas are transferable to any business that seeks to retain clients/customers to ensure their long term prosperity and profitability.

Rory, promotes his own products throughout this book.
Author Rory Fatt wrote this book to promote his other products. He had some good ideas but it's mostly about his product.
