Great suction, great budget option.
Works great for a budget canister vacuum. The standard sizing is nice. The suction on this vac is GREAT. I bought a wessel werk floor head that came with a longer, sturdier wand and this thing is AWESOME now. Don't get me wrong the standard wand and floor head are "okay". This unit is much smaller than I thought it was going to be. Just about 2/3 the size of my Miele C3.

Great vacuum!
This is the 3d Jill we bought. It appears sturdier than the two prior models. It replaces a battery powered sick vacuum we paid 4 times the price for and that was utterly useless. Suction power is awesome. Size is small, also great. We also arrived to the conclusion that a bag is much better than bagless vacuum. The latter ending up having dust all over the kitchen when emptying. And bags are easy to change and very affordable for Jill. The only slight negative is that it is noisy. But we can live with that. Highly recommended.

Cord recoil broken in 34 days. Unnecessary suction power.
Would not recommend. It is made of cheap plastic. I have LVP flooring, I vacuum once a week and the cord recoil broke in less than 2 months. Now unable to return according to Amazon and Simplicity. While I thought the suction power was great at first, the level made the vacuum head feel like it was scraping the floors. Some of my throw rugs are heavy and this thing still grabbed on and pulls them up, so you have to stand on one end and try to vacuum them.I have used a Kenmore cannister vacuum for over 34 years & just recently had my 2nd one had issues with the hose and could not find a replacement part; thought I'd save a few bucks since it's just my husband and I now. What a waste of money.

Pretty good for the price
I purchased this to clean my one bedroom apartment because it was lightweight and smaller than some of the regular canister vacuums. I did purchase a separate turbo attachment to clean rugs and carpets. It does a great job on hardwood floors but is a little more difficult on the plush carpeted areas. The low-pile area rugs are a bit easier.I do like the compact style and light weight. It seems to have good suction. I just got it recently so haven’t used it a lot. It does seem that the bags are a littke pricy though. I don’t have pets so hoping they don’t fill up too fast. I do like that they are HEPA so won’t bother my allergies.

Simplicity Jill Vacuum
Great vacuum! I love the Simplicity brand. Vacuum is small and compact but has get pick up. I use mine on hardwood floors, tile floors and low pile carpets. Great on stairs as well. I totally recommend this product.

Its just okay
Before purchasing this vacuum I was using an off brand stick vacuum I got off of TikTok shop for $35. I hated the battery life and everyone I know kept recommending this specific vacuum to replace it with given the price point and the fact that it plugs in and has a bag. was really excited to get this because I needed to do some serious vacuuming around my house (I have a crazy shedder dog and two cats). All I can say is that I am NOT blown away. It seems to have the same suction power as my stick, its harder to move around and use, the tube never stays untwisted, the cord is not long enough for the spaces I need it for, and the attachments are dismal. The suction power on it is good enoough but the attachments level it down dramatically, on top of the navigation aspect of the machine. The handle on the machine itself is hard to hold because you can only grab it from one side of the machine. A pro is that it has a lot of filters and gives off no smell when using it which I can not say the same for my other vacuum. The bag lasted me 3 full house deep cleans which is impressive in my eyes given my stick only lasted one room before needing to be cleaned out. It is a good size and fits nicely in my small house, but I would probably not recommend this to anyone, I would have rather gone with a better stick vacuum with back up batteries had I known all of this.

Perfect for my small apt
I've been using a version of this for decades. I love the compactness, maneuverability and great suction. I'm not wild about the rug attachments but my rugs are so small I just use the regular nozzle. A NOTE ABOUT OVERHEATING: Recently mine stopped working due to overheating ~ note to self, change the bag before it is bursting, especially when vacuuming granular items like kitty litter or oatmeal. I knew there was a feature to cut the motor in the event of overheating so I waited several hours but it still didn't start despite feeling cool to the touch. So I ordered a new one that arrived the next day. (Thank you Amazon). But before uynpacking it I tried the old one a final time and lo and behold it was working fine. So I returned the new one (Thanks again Amazon) and hopefully the old one will continue doing the awesome job it has been doing.

Suction too strong
I got this vacuum based on recommendation I saw, but i ended up returning it for a few reasons. First off, it seems like the suction is too strong or something? I tried using it on my hardwood floors, both with the brushes up and down, and either way the vacuum was literally sticking to the floor. It was as if god himself decided to multiply frictional force by 5x. It was useable, but a huge pain.Secondly, I had a bit of trouble fitting the wand to the vacuum head, I really had to force it to fit. Maybe I did something wrong, but the instructions seemed imply enough so I doubt it...Third one is a smaller issue, but the power and cord retract buttons are too hard to push- it's easy to push the vacuum by accident when you're trying to do so. Also the it's hard to tell which button is which unless you're in a well lit area because the icons on the buttons are just slightly raised portions of the plastic instead of some white paint or something that gives contrast. Two stars because I'm optimistic enough to think I just got a faulty model or something.
