Very simple, reliable and affordable
Purchase this to monitor our solar system for a community radio station. Very simple easy directions to follow have tested it quarterly as required by the FCC and it is 100% accurate. So if you’re looking for something affordable to build your own DY solar system, I highly recommend this item. We’ve never had a problem with it and reliability is extremely high.

Best meter for EZGO Elite RXV Lithium cart
This is the perfect battery meter for a EZGO Elite RXV with the Samsung SDI lithium battery..!!! Programming it up is a snap, all you need to do is connect the meters two leads (+/-) to a 9 volt battery. To program it for the Elite lithium battery, hold down the left button while connecting it to the battery, press button until “L”appears, then press right button until 13 appears, disconnect it from the battery, it will hold its program until installed in your cart. it’s installed your good to go. Simply pick a location to mount meter, then run leads to the positive and negative terminals on the carts battery. Your done ..!

Good but not great
It is an OK meter that only stays on for a few seconds before it goes to sleep. Brightness of the screen is not great, making it not so great to read.

Junk and will not last.
This is not water proof. Less than a year old and quit working. Save your money and buy a good name brand. Not only that the reading are wrong. Ir drops when you put a load on it a good one will only drop as the batteries truly drop.

Works, but instructions are not clear
First of all, it does work on 48 volts even though the packaging label does not state it. For a series-parallel battery the instructions are lacking clarity. You need to know how many parallel strings there are and how many batteries are in series in each string. For example a 48volt, 10Ah lithium battery is going to have 3 parallel strings of 13 batteries connected in series. The third step of the instructions say to "Press the function key to set the number of battery strings, press the function key and setting key to select the number of batteries in series up or down." To me, I would be looking to use the function key to set the value to "3" and then press both of the buttons together to set the number of batteries in series to 13. But it doesn't work like that, there is no key combination to set each of these parameters separately. It appears that for my type of battery appears that all you can do it tell it how many cells are in series. Seems to work but I'm not sure how.

works perfect
Love it, great to get a better picture of what my battery level is at. I connected to a ground under the dash and the positive coming off the key. I have it set to light up for 10 seconds when I turn the key on then turns off unless I push the button. Reading isn't as accurate as if I went direct to the battery but super easy to install and is good enough for what I need.

Configuration is not simple, but it works fine
Works fine once you figure out how to configure it. To enter the configuration mode, the display needs to be disconnected from the power source and re-power it with the left button pressed. Company suggests to use the connector as an on/off power supply, but once installed, it could be an issue if there is no easy way to de-power the display. So, you may want to configure it before installation, using a 9V battery as a power source. When in configuration mode, you select the battery type, that basically determine the voltage of a single cell when fully charged: P (lead acid 12V), L (Lithium 3.7V) and F (LIPO 3.2V). The right button allows you to set the number of cells your battery system, for example: P01 = Lead 12V * 1 = 12V L07= Lithium 3.7V * 4 = 14.8V F07 = LIPO 3.2V * 4 = 12.8V Configuration will be saved when the display is de-powered. The basic design flaw with this display is that it doesn't have a real on/off button, so the best is to connect the display to the battery via an on/off switch so you can configure it when installed. Also, it prevents the device to draw power when not necessary.

A micro tester
It's way too tiny with super tiny testing leads..,the unit is 1"x2" It'll get lost b4 it ever gets used....not worth the $20 spent but you get what you pay for as they say Don't buy it unless you've got a button down shirt pocket to carry it around in or make a special spot to attach in your cart for future usage
