Great little case - as long as your expectations are reasonable

*by M***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on July 5, 2014*

Was looking for a small cube case to build a tiny server for files, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, etc... I didn't need an optical drive and wanted something that would be as unobtrusive as possible, but would still have room for at least two 3.5" HDD's since I wanted to mirror them. This little case seemed to fit the bill.Working in a case this small, be prepared to have to work a bit more at making everything fit. However, as long as you assemble it in the correct order, it's still pretty easy to work inside. It would likely be tough using all of the drive bays, expansion cards, etc... that are listed on the spec sheet, primarily because cabling would get in the way. However, I have a mini-ITX board w/ one expansion card installed and two 3.5" hard drives without an issue. The mini-ITX board I have is fanless, the heatsink isn't too large, and it uses SO-DIMM's, all of which help a bit.The one thing I don't care for is the power supply mounting. While I was aware of it going into it, the power supply mounts at the front of the case, and there's a short extension cable that effective connects the power outlet on your power supply to the outlet on the back of the case. This means the switch on your power supply is behind the case's bezel - if you truly want to turn it off you'll need to pull the cord. In addition, it makes for slightly odd airflow, as most power supplies vent out the rear, which is the front in this case. Still, most mini-ITX systems aren't built with particularly high cooling requirements. If you want a good, simple, tiny case that still offers some room for expansion, this is a good option. Most other tiny cases are either much deeper (if they can take multiple 3.5" HDD's) or much more restricted (one HDD or even just one 2.5" HDD).

    Nice little case, requires sacrifices

*by A***N on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on January 27, 2014*

Pros- Well thought out case with lots of options- Stylish- Decent ventilation- Small- Perfect for HTPC- Can fit up to 200mm GFX cards- Good customer service from Rosewill (RMA procedure)Cons- Can't hold everything spec sheet says it can (all at once). Sure there is a space for everything spec sheet says, but once your start adding your components, you will realize you have to start making sacrifices. For example, you will not find the space to have 4 x 3.5" drives AND 4 case fans. And sure, most of us can look at the specs and get to the conclusion that a cube of this size will never hold all that, but I feel that should be made clear in details for users with less experience.- My case came with a defective front USB port (awaiting replacement. See above.)Other thoughtsBuilding my machine inside this case was like puzzle. Granted I wanted to use my Corsair H60 I had from my previous case, and it fits but just barely. Just. barely. (see spec sheet below). My one word of advice would be to make sure to plan out cable management before hand.I definitely filled this case to the brim. Now that is put together, I never want to take it apart again. Even to replace RAM or clean some dust, I will have to remove power supply and cooler.Spec list:CPU: AMD A8-5600K 3.6GHz Quad-Core ProcessorCPU Cooler: Corsair H60 54.0 CFM Liquid CPU CoolerMotherboard: ASRock FM2A85X-ITX Mini ITX FM2 MotherboardMemory: Crucial 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1333 MemoryStorage: Western Digital Green 2TB 2.5" 5900RPM Internal Hard DriveVideo Card: HIS Radeon HD 6670 1GB Video CardPower Supply: Be Quiet 300W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power SupplyOperating System: Microsoft Windows 8 Professional (OEM) (64-bit)Other: Rosewill Legacy V6
