I own an antique Singer 101-4 which is my favorite sewing machine. During a recently move my peddle went missing and just never resurfaced. I picked this up as a replacement.While it doesn't look as nice (or rachet depending on how much you like old things) as the original, it functions exactly the same. I added some non-slip grip to the bottom to keep it from sliding on the floor while in use.Every time I need a replacement part of my machine I am just SO happy there are placed they still make and provide the parts I need to keep my nearly century old sewing machine going for years to come.

This pedal does not work for the4 Singer Confidence 7460. I lost the original plug in a move somehow. This machine is brand new for me and I'm having to manually Start it. Thank God my machine has the start button but I really wish this pedal works. For me, when you press it down, nothing happens then when you let go, the machine starts to sew at whatever settings you have it on for speed. When you press the pedal again, it slows down the sewing then stops it until you release the pedal, then it begins to sew again. Never have I experienced this before.My Singer is brand new. Wish I could find that pedal!

This foot control is an electronic design where the original Singer Featherweight 221 foot control was a carbon pile rheostat design. If the original design was left plugged in it could possible start heating up and possible get very hot.The electronic control should not heat up if left plugged in.

Fit my Janome 128 machine. If your machine has circular edges on the two outside pins, this cord should fit. Make sure your two outer pins on Machine don't have a more square/straight shaped outter edge.Peddle works perfectly. Seen the same part on sewing websites for over 50$.Thank you!

Bought this to replace the factory foot pedal since it wasn't actuating properly. This one is plastic but is comparable to the foot pedals that come factory with the newer Kenmore machines. The plug is the 3-pin plug, so be sure to check your machine before buying. It fit my 385.12714090 perfectly. The cord is as long as the factory cord.

My other sewing maching foot pedal quit working, and then I got my HimaPro Foot Control Pedal with Cord and now I am one happy camper!

In the middle of me sewing masks for work, my sewing machine (singer futura ce200) just stopped. It had been acting strange, going slow couldn't seem to get it to pick up, but reverse was fine. When it stopped I thought for sure that was it, I would need a new machine. The thought occurred to me to try a new control pedal. I was nervous with my machine being older I wouldn't be able to find parts since its older. I am so glad i did! This came quickly and worked perfectly. I am so grateful to have fixed my problem for a very small price!

Using it with Kenmore 158.15612. Good variable speed control and does not heat up like the original carbon pile pedal.
