I’m really pleased with this bag. It’s well made & and looks great. It does have an odor right out of the box, but not bad after airing out. This is real handmade tanned animal skin. It’s the real thing. Seller also included 2 nice little leather bound notebooks, which was a nice surprise. I’d buy from this seller again.

Bag came three days after ordering. Bag smells like leather, canvas, and glue. No funky smells like past reciews noted.Leather appears to be decent quality, if a bit stiff. There are some minor natural blemishes (probably bug bite scars). The hardware has a bronze/weathered brass finish and looks nice.The 16" bag fits a 15.6"(14.5" width) laptop comfortably, but would be a tight squeeze for anything much wider. It has large, zippered pockets on the interior and exterior.

Expected a more distressed look. However, it seems sturdy and I was able to use it immediately. Looks good. Large capacity

Magnetic fastener fell out within a week of light use. Straps aren't very good and could stand to be doubled up and reinforced with stitching. Storage is decent and it will fit a large ipad snugly.It would be hard to make this bag for the same money, but not undoable with some budget friendly leather if you have the time and equipment. A little conditioning improves the look of the leather.Ultimately it's a cheap bag and you get what you pay for.

I purchased two different bags the purse and the messenger type. I love them both. They are a great size. A very nice price and well put together. I am super happy with both bags and have gotten many compliments on them in the short time I have used them. They are holding up well and my bags need to as I do not baby them. They can both be used on the shoulder or crossbody comfortably! Super happy with this great deal I scored on these bags! They have that nice real oiled leather smell that you should expect and I love the green canvas type lining! Have recommended already to friends! I gave 4 stars for thickness as this is not a thick leather but that is good because it keeps the bag from being to heavy. It is a perfect weight and the bag is very sturdy! Perfect.

This leather messenger bag is crafted at a reasonable level in terms of stitching, fit and a very rustic finish. The product however is unusable. The bag has a strong pungent chemical odor that gives one a headache and will quickly over power even a large room. Shame on Amazon for selling such an inferior product.

1: packaging - So to start off the packaging is horrible, it was wrap in a clear wrap with a little bit of thin foam and i delivery sticker slapped on it. Im in an apartment so it wouldnt take much for someone to see something made from leather and snag it; Just he aware of that.Second issue with the packaging is all the silica packets were busted in the bag and it was a messy process getting it all out of the bag AND making sure everything was swept up from when i opened it cause i have cats and dont want them eating silica.2: smell - I read reviews on the smell, didn’t think it’d be that bad cause Im used to leather products. It’s not just a leather smell… this thing wreaks of a chemically glue smell and I can’t even sit next to my bag with the smell. I’m gonna try to clean it out but as of right now it wreaks.3: strap - the strap isn’t leather and is pretty cheap quality especially in contrast to the bag I wouldn’t mind this too much if it had an easy on/off system to put whatever strap you want on it, but it doesn’t. So whenever the strap falls apart and it definitely is going to, I can’t just swap the strap out without making or altering one.Tldr:I really don’t wanna even give this thing two stars, but considering the price point checks out, I’ll give it credit for what it does do right. The bag itself is good quality for the price and is correctly size, it fits my 12.9 inch tablet perfectly.So if you don’t mind altering the existing strap/planning on rigging a new strap, it sitting on your doorstep in clear packaging, and having to thoroughly clean out silica and the stink; it’s a good deal for such a low price if you don’t mind doing a bunch of extra work to make it good.

I've used this bag daily on campus for 2 years now. I love the color, feel, and storage capacity. It can comfortably fit my Macbook Air, a charger, sundry cables, and files.This bag feels like a buy-it-once purchase. If anything, it will get more handsome with wear.It does take a few weeks to air out the smell of the chemicals used to tan or dye the leather.
