how wide is this comb?

The comb is 6 9/16" long when open. The teeth section of the comb is 3". Closed it is 3 5/8" long. Width across back is 1/4". From the bottom of the teeth to the top of that section is 9/16"; closed it is 1" wide. It is a great product.

Hope this helps ! A Kent comb uses saw cut, not injection molded, teeth. The internal surface of the teeth are flat making the comb move through your hair more smoothly without binding or pulling. Because the interval between the teeth of the comb is much more precise than with a molded comb, the hair is arranged more symmetrically also, making your hair appear fuller and more attractive. Kent combs are also made from dense and consistently pliable but stiff cellulose acetate, not polystyrene plastic. How do you fold it? I just got it and I cant figure it out LOL

At first its a little tight, but it should go down, We had a slight problem doing it as well, but realized it was just hard to do. it should just fold down with the teeth on the inside. Hope that helps!

Does the comb come in a case or gift box?

I recall vaguely that it comes within a plastic packaging with Kent logo. Not in gift giving form. I'm sure however you could find a box around your house to use to wrap and put under the tree. :)
