They sewed around the attachment point on the larger portion of the strap. However, on the tail they did not. In my opinion this makes it a little wear prone. The strap itself is beautiful and looks great on my red and white telecaster. I have a couple other of these straps and they have done really well. Good value for the money and quite comfortable.

I'm pretty picky about straps. This one is soft and comfortable. I'm a tall guy (6'6"), so I need a long strap. I'm also a fat guy, so I need an even longer strap! No problem, this strap has plenty of length. Highly recommend this for anyone who needs a high quality, comfortable, extra long strap without spending too much money.

Very nicee wide strap for the money. I have 10 guitars, mainly basses, All with Perris straps. Just to show how much i like their products!!!

I can't seem to find the right lenght with this strap. It just doesn't feel right. The suede is nice but it will make a mess the first time you use it (some "suede" dust just appeared everywhere). I would give it a shot, maybe it works for you. Good quality product.

...the one I received was extra long (about 7" too long) and unuseable. Had to return it.

This works perfectly for bass. I have problems with neck dive when using smooth leather or nylon type straps. The suede finish on this one keeps this from happening. The wide double thickness leather is soft and easy on the shoulder. I'm 6' tall and the length is perfect for me with the bass body centered on my low belly. It might be a problem for someone taller, or rockers who center the instrument at the pelvis or lower. This one is like the old straps I've used for decades and have proven to hold up well over time.

I bought the Perris wide suede strap to replace the 1-3/4' black polyester strap that came to me with a Peavey JF-1, a heavy E335 style guitar in a transparent red finish. The biggest attractions in strap's description were a 3-1/2" width and supple suede leather. By a happy chance, the red suede beautifully compliments the Transparent Red finish on the JF-1. Much more important is that it makes playing the instrument very comfortable for any length of time. I had tried a 3" polyester strap, and while wide, its stiff edges still dug grooves into my shoulder.The Perris Soft Suede strap, by contrast, makes playing this rather large and heavy guitar much more pleasant and comfortable for any amount of time. The Perris Leather quality is great - it looks very well-made and durable. I'm going to get several more. They offer several colours, which may go well with other guitars. However, colour aside, the soft suede strap makes playing very comfortable, which by itself is reason to use one.

Very nice quality suede with a good built. Nice color too. I've had 3.5" suede guitar straps before and this is a new one to add to my collection. Love it already.

Lovely strap but was much shorter than 8 expected. Would ve fine on a strat style guitar but on an acoustic or semi acoustic where the strap attaches at the neck i found it very short. Had to buy a separate extender.. your milage may vary but i am 6'3"

This guitar strap is made very well. The suede has a really nice feel and is very comfortable to wear. Have a couple of other guitars that need straps, definitely will be buying a couple of different colors of this strap
