Fintie Sleeve Case Cover for MacBook Air 13.6'' / Air 13'', Pro 13''

I’ve been using the Mosiso folio leatherette type cases on my Macbooks for years. While they’ve always been functional, the last few have been made with plastic corner straps to hold the screen rather than the original elastic cloth ones. Not surprisingly the plastic straps last for a few months to a year at most. I was determined to get a similar case with an improved screen corner retainer and the 2 that came up were from Fintie and TYTX. I waffled over which to get and finally ended up grabbing both figuring I’d return the inferior one. The TYTX was certainly usable but suffered from more overall bulk and a slightly sloppy fit. My Macbook Air was definitely gapped open more than I wanted with the TYTX due to the thickness of the material used to retain all 4 corners of the laptop. Even more disappointing was the lack of any kind of center closure strap with a snap or magnetic catch. I wasn’t expecting much improvement from the Fintie but I was dead wrong in my assumption. The fit was far better than anything I experienced with the TYTX or the Mosiso cases I had used. Corner materials were strategically thinner on the Fintie so the laptop closed without the big gap. To be clear there is an inherent gap under the bottom of Macbook Air from its 4 feet sitting on the inside face of the case but that is unavoidable and should not be mistaken as a gap between the screen and the body of the laptop. Other positives are the case itself has extremely flat exterior surfaces. I got the grey which almost looks like a cool denim pattern and has an added leather piece at the folding portion. The material quality is exceptional although I can’t verify the other leatherette options come off quite as nice as the grey. Better yet the Fintie has a center strap with a magnetic catch that really grabs well when you close it. Overall I generally rarely write reviews unless something strikes me as really good or really disappointing. The Fintie case is really, really good as an extremely well executed design and will be my keeper for sure.

Perfect fit for my Macbook Air 13 inch. I use this in addition to sliding it into a cushioned case that fully covers the laptop while in transit. It’s not fully protective around all sides, but that isn’t the purpose of this case, it’s meant to protect it during use from scratches and smaller bumps. Someone in the reviews mentioned the magnetic clip covers their camera but if you flip the clip all the way over, it moves completely out of the way and secures to the outside of the case, so that’s not a problem whatsoever. It’s good-looking and slim profile, too.

I will start by saying I purchased this case because I was tired of the hardshell cases continuing to crack / chip / break around the edges and clips. I wanted something with more give to it and something that would still provide protection - and hopefully last longer than those hardshell cases you see all over Amazon. Pretty slim case, a plus. (for my Macbook Pro 13" A2159) Feels more sturdy and durable than I thought - which is nice. Although this is obviously not real leather. I like how the Macbook is held in the case. I didn't like that other folio cases on Amazon completely covered the areas to the left and right of the trackpad - with the trackpad and keyboard literally being the only sections not covered by the casing that hold the bottom portion of the Macbook. I like that, with this case, the top 2 corners of the Macbook's screen is held by seemingly pretty durable material that isn't as breakable and flexible as some of the strap-type designs of other cases. I feel like these corner pieces that hold the Macbook's screen in will last longer than those strap designs. BONUS: it doesn't block any portion of the screen either. I didn't really purchase this to use the pocket that's on the case. It doesn't open very much and would only be useful for probably smaller pieces of paper. But I could care less about the pocket. PS: this case is cheaper on eBay if you're not necessarily needing Prime shipping. However, I already had a credit on my Amazon account from something else so I purchased through Amazon anyway.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Love the pink color, still looks professional.Love the front pocket. Would have given 5stars if it had a little kickstand that pops out like others do, otherwise great.

I have had alot of book type and high dollar leather cases for my macs and I use them every day almost all day and its been almost a year or mabee logher since I bought this and its the best one I've had. Still Looks brand new. I will say that The first one I bouth used like new and one of the tabs was broken so just saying spend the extra 2 dollars.

This fit my MacBook 13.6 screen beautifully. Little bit of a struggle to get it on because it was tight, but after that it works great. My advice is to pull on the clear fasteners at the top a little to stretch them out for an easier fit. Great price, not expensive. Great color options. Arrived promptly. I think it will protect my laptop beautifully.

Hem çok şık hem de bence diğer kılıflardan çok daha koruyucu. Özellikle köşeleri koruma açısından diğer kılıflara göre daha güvenli. Kesinlikle tavsiye ederim.

Raga, non c'è niente da dire. è perfetta. Non è vero che lascia il pc semi aperto perchè è troppo grosso lo spessore. Anzi, con la linguetta magnetica si chiude perfettamente. Poi è proprio bella da vedere, io l'ho presa rosa perlato.
