It's Rhodia , nothing else needs to be said
This paper is the best I have found for calligraphy, hand lettering and layouts! It's very smooth. No worry about fraying the tips on my brush pens, and no bleed through. Pages printed with dot grid, squares, lined or blank. Comes in a wide variety of sizes, shapes and binding types.of Rhodia paper is my go-to paper for practice and layouts.

Not As Good As The Original, But Close
I'm going to give you an actual REVIEW of this product, rather that just say "It's Good", which is terrible if you're actually trying to buy something for the first time. Yes, this is a pad of paper, but it's an expensive pad of paper (for a reason).First off, there is something different about this Ice pad when compared to the standard black/orange grid pad of the same size. I think they have the same specifications, but there's something definitely different in the paper, and I'm sad to say that I don't really enjoy it as much as I was hoping. I've included a photo, but it's hard capture the subtle differences. Here's a breakdown of my impression:ColorThe most obvious difference is that the grid lines are grey on this paper, instead of the ugly purple that somebody at Rhodia should have been fired over. This was the entire reason I bought this pad, because I just didn't like how weird and technical looking the purple grid was. I had somebody ask me if I was using some kind of architect pad or something for taking notes. Anyway, I don't actually like the grey lines on the Ice pad, either. They might be a little lighter than the purple, but they have a weird tone to them, almost olive-grey. My first thought when opening the box was "Oh, I don't think I like this". That's usually a bad sign for me personally. But, alas, I gave it a chance. This paper is also a slightly different color than the standard Rhodia grid pad. It's very subtle, but it's definitely whiter, and appears to be a bit more opaque. Comparing the two, the standard grid almost appears to have a slightly pinkish tone to the white (if you have one you know what I'm talking about), and the Ice pad is almost eggshell white.FeelingYou aren't going to believe me, but the Ice pad feels different and my inks behave differently on it. I don't particularly care for it. Note that it's a very subtle difference, but enough for me to immediately notice (and I'm just a regular guy, not a paper guru). My standard grid pad is smooth as glass, and is my favorite writing paper outside of Tomoe River. This Ice pad...does not have that exact same feel. All of my pens write in slightly finer lines, and they don't seem to write as wet on the Ice pad as they do on the standard grid. I tried Noodlers, Montblanc, and Pilot inks, all with the same exact results. The paper feels smooth, like my other pad, but it definitely behaves a bit different, almost like the nicer office copy paper that we have around my work. Not bad, but not what I was expecting. My first standard grid Rhodia pad was a great experience. I filled the entire thing up very quickly. This pad has taken some getting used to, but it's still good paper. I would probably recommend the standard grid over this pad any day, but if you absolutely hate the purple grid and weird slightly pinkish paper, then this is a good alternative. I'll most likely switch back to the standard grid.I feel like they were right on the money with the idea behind this pad, but something about it is different enough to change the overall writing experience.

Small notebook.
It's small, but you still get that great Rhodia paper. I use it for quick notes while on the phone.

Nice form, great paper, huge stock stickers
The paper itself is wonderful for use with a fountain pen. I've used several inks from several pens on it, and I get little feathering and no bleed-through. The perforations are right at the top of the page, unobtrusive but useful. The form factor is also very helpful. It fits easily in a shirt or pants pocket and is perfect for all those little notes for which sheets of notebook paper are far too large. The cover is also very pleasing. Rhodia makes the covers of a slick material that feels good in the hand and slides smoothly on a table or in and out of your pocket. It's scored to easily fold under the pad while you write.Unfortunately, these are sold with huge stock stickers attached to them. At 2" x 1 1/4" they are unattractive. I removed one, and it left a huge amount of adhesive behind. Most people probably won't care about that, but it's why I had to deduct a star.Great paper!!

The best pocket notebook I've found
I've been searching for the perfect pocket notebook for about 5 years now, and I've finally found it in this Rhodia.I've tried many different brands, including 3 of the most popular: Moleskine (fell apart in my pocket), Field Notes (also fell apart pretty quickly), and Rite in the Rain (the waxy surface for the waterproof-ness makes it smudge-prone and no fun to write on). The Rhodia not only is a pleasure to write on (the paper feels thick and rich), it also is nice looking, a perfect size, and durable--I've been carrying on for 4-5 months now without any major damage to it.In particular, I love the top binding, which allows for easy writing. The detachable pages are another nice feature, as is the dot grid on this model--all the convenience of gridded paper (write in a line, draw straight lines, etc) without the obtrusiveness of all the lines.I really can't think of any way this product could be better. To me, it's the perfect pocket notebook.

One of the Best
This is among the best coated papers out there, whatever you're writing with - though it's particularly valuable for its treatment of fountain pen inks. It will not feather or bleed (or in almost all instances, even show through) fountain pen ink. The ice version of the pads (white covers, silver print) have a much lighter grid on the inside, and make the standard (lavender) grids seem too dark by comparison. I'll keep using ice Rhodia until they stop making it (and then will hoard it). It's similar to Clairefontaine, another coated paper, but nicer.

Stationary heaven
In my opinion, Rhodia makes some of the very best paper on the market. These pads make note taking and sketching a real joy. Try it at least once and I am sure you will agree.

Quite nice for a list-making fix!
Really nice notepads with a quirky folding design. Not particularly strudy, easily bent as it's basically glossy and softback. But still love the minimal design - essential for compulsive list-makers like myself, so didn't mind purchasing the required minimum of 3 ;)

Fabulous shopping pads.
Ordered these as I couldn’t find any shopping pads in the shops. Really happy I ordered two. the quality of the paper is lovely and the thickness of the pad with much greater than I expected.Amazing quality for the price. Sadly however Amazon package them into smaller package at the top pad was buckled what a shame.

Essential to-doing supplies.
These are probably my favourite note pads to have hanging about. All types of ink/pen look nice on the pad, it's well designed and pages tear off nicely, dot matrix (best format ever), you can chuck it in your pocket or bag, and it's so handy for compulsive list-makers like myself ;)

But overpriced
A bit flimsy. I've switched from lined paper to blank and not sure whether I'm a fan. However this notepad is good if you prefer to draw and scribble diagrams rather than text. I think it's a bit overpriced for the stability of it but I haven't lost any pages and I'm nearly halfway through it.

Great every day carry pad
This is a perfect size pad to have in a jacket pocket or in a bag for when you need it.The dot pad is, in my opinion, superior to the other pad options as helps with writting/sketching etc but much more subtly than say gid/line paper. The quality of the paper is also excellent and appears to be able to handle the various inks/fountain pens that I’ve tried.I love the other Rhodia pads but I can see this becoming my daily carry pad for any quick notes. This is a perfect size pad to have in a jacket pocket or in a bag for when you need it.The dot pad is, in my opinion, superior to the other pad options as helps with writting/sketching
