These are great if you have your old waveguider to trace for perfect fit
Highly recommend for adventurous DIYers. These generic parts are great, if you aren't afraid to trace your old part and make a new one. My microwave was sparking up, so I watched a how to fix video that told me I needed a new waveguide cover. Were they right! Years of use had cracked the wave guide in half. I looked online, but my microwave was so old, the part wasn't avaiable. These generic wave guides allow you to take out your part, trace in on the piece, then cut it out with scissors or a razor blade knife. It popped right into place, and my microwave is now working well.

Great wave guide cover for less
Thin compare to the original. Easy to cut pattern to matched the original and the most important is that it work. Now have 3 extra for backup/fixing neighbors. Great value.

Best choice for an older larger model microwaves
I searched for the largest size available and this was it. I trimmed it down to fit over the open area in my microwave. It had different notch area than the other sheets available. But this was adjustable and works perfectly

Simple fix to a sparking microwave
My microwave started sparking for no apparent reason so my best guess was the cover over the waveguide was no longer functioning properly. Purchasing this package of waveguides was a lot less expensive to try this fix before tossing an expensive microwave. The package had 4 waveguides that you cut to fit. The waveguide is a thin woven Mica Material about the size of a playing card. Simply lay your existing waveguide on the replacement, trace around the edge and cut out with a pair of scissors. Then slide the waveguide into place and it's a done deal, if it's going to work. Fortunately, that was the only problem for me and my microwave is back working like new.

Easy to cut to size.
It worked great. I just traced the outline of the burnt one and cut this product to size and it worked perfectly.

Salvaged a 40 year old microwave
A microwave in a Biology lab is a necessary tool to melt agarose for the gels that separate DNA. We have had the same microwave from the start. As the decades have passed, microwaves have become shorter and shorter. You cannot fit a one liter flask in one anymore. That is why this microwave is still worth fixing. It only cost us pennies, and we will pass it on to another lab when we retire

Saved the microwave
When our microwave sparked and smoked, I thought we'd have to buy a new one. But then I did some online research and found that all I have to do was replace this little magnetometer cover. The order came quickly, the installation was easy, and voila, no new microwave needed, many dollars saved. If it does it again, I've got plenty of spare covers.
