Great little starter kit. It came with a nice mix of seeds and a clear guide on how to germinate your seeds and get them growing. Some seeds take more time than others, but it's well worth the time. It's amazing to watch them grow, knowing it was you who took them from seed to tiny seedling. The kit had everything you need to start you off, and I did not need to buy anything else, which was really nice. Since then, I have also bought Growbuddha's other bonsai kit and some other bits in my plant journey.

Great selection of bonsai tree seeds. What sets this off is the wonderful instruction booklet that has been printed to ensure you have a good chance of success.

So bought this to see if I could grow some bonsai trees. Get lots of different seeds. Have tried wisteria of 7 seeds so far only 2 look like they are germinating. Also put the spruce seeds in the fridge so yet to know if any of those start. There are small little coir soil pods and pots you will likely need more. There is a really useful booklet and QR code to get more information for newbies to bonsai.

Not very good seeds as the majority of them moulded. I saved 1 wisteria and 2 silk mimosas the rest moulded. Haven’t tried the pines yet but I think if they have life in them they will germinate in the fridge perfectly. Instructions are simple but you can also go on you tube and you can find lots of videos with info that doesn’t show in the booklet. As a gift plus be nice but it’s disappointing to constantly watch over the seeds and find them moulded.

Im really impressed. 8 attractive species, with pots, soil, label sticks, trimmers. Instructions recommend just sowing all the seeds but im aware most of them need pre treatment to enhance germination rate (soaking, scarring or stratification). I can see from the soaked seeds that the seeds are good quality with at least 90% being viable. I wont be using the soil tabs nor pots as i have sowing soil and propagators but great that it contains all you need. After a few days the Silk Mimosa have sprouted, then Wisteria and Flame. I have also germinated some in a dark place....Jacaranda sprouting well. So all in all...only the Pommegranate that havent germinated yet. Still early days...a week at most. Blue Spruce, Black Pine and Eucalyptus are all stratifying at this moment. I will update with those.

This is basically a lucky dip of random seeds. For a start, there were only 6 different seed types, not the 8 I paid for. Secondly, the germination rate was dreadful. Lastly, the wisteria seeds turned out to be fenugreek seeds which are an annual herb (photo attached). Have contacted Grow Buddha directly with no response. Don’t waste your time and seek an alternate seller.

Nice little set. Good instructions, all the stuff you need to start but none of the seeds are labelled so I don't know whats what in order to start as different trees need different starts

They are slowly but surely growing and pleasing to the eye. The photo shows eucalyptus, flame tree, and mimosa.

Unfortunately, the set arrived incomplete - two types of seeds are missing from the box - silk mimosa and blue spruce. I bought the set only because of the mimosa seeds and that is what I didn't receive.

Ho seminato già alcuni semi,ma ancora niente,calcolando che è febbraio penso sia normale,l'ho riacquistato perché ne avevo comprato già uno,ed è l'unico kit tra quelli che ho provato che mi è nato qualcosa,non di tutte le specie ma è l'unico kit dove è spuntato qualcosa,tipo albero della fiamma,mimosa silk ,pino nero,....lo consiglio!

Alors utilisation simple. Je ne parle pas anglais, je me suis servi de l'appli Google traduction pour traduire le mode d'emploi par espèce à partir de photos du manuel fournis. J'ai planté actuellement le mimosa, le flame, le pomegranate, le Jacaranda, le wisteria et le japanese Black pine. Actuellement pousse le flame (c'est le premier qui a commencé à pousser), le wisteria (jolie pousse verte) et le japanese Black pine (jolie pousse verte). Je suis donc ravie car je ne jardine pas à la base donc j'avais peur d'avoir un échec cuisant. J'ai acheté ce kit pour faire pousser au moins un bonsaï pour mon compagnon qui a émis le souhait d'en avoir un. Je me suis dis que cela serait plus personnel que d'en offrir un " tout fait ".
