We've had rubber "no-slip" mats under our rugs for years. They do a poor job of preventing slippage and have been fraying at the edges, leaving rubber fragments on our hardwood floors. I decided to try these grippers and couldn't be more pleased. The rugs don't budge and the application was easy. They come in two mirror image shapes so they fit in the corners of the rug properly. If corrections are needed, they peel off the rug or the floor easily without damage, however we only just got them, so I can't say if there may be some long term effects. I'd definitely buy these again if I needed more.

These were such an inexpensive solution for an annoying slippery bathroom rug. I love my rug, but it would not stay in place, and I didn’t want to use one of those separate non-slip mats underneath it. These grippers stick directly to the corners of the rug and then to the floor, and they were very easy to line up and install. I’ve been using them for almost six months and they’ve worked great. I’ve even washed the rug once and was able to line the grippers back up and stick them onto the pieces that remained on the floor. I’m not sure how many more wash cycles they’ll survive, but for the price and the amount of time they’ve already lasted, I’m very pleased. Simple, affordable, and they actually keep my rug from sliding!

I’ve had this rug tape on several different rugs for about two years, and it has held up great! It’s thin enough you don’t notice it under the rug even on thin rugs. It is reasonably priced for the quality. It sticks very well and keeps the corners from curling. In the video, I show it under my high traffic entryway rug. It is still sticky, even with occasionally pulling the rug up to clean underneath. However, I took off one star because it does stick to the rug. It’s very hard to get off if you ever need to take them off. On one of my rugs it did pull a bit of the backing off.

Best grippers I've ever tried. Stuck well to rug, even with mesh backing. We have concrete floors, stays in place! Awesome product, easy install.

Love these! I have a runner in my living room and a very active AussieDoodle dog--not a great combination. Using these grippers hold it in place and I don't have to keep moving and straightening the rug back where it belongs.

Beware: These are effective rug tape strips, and I'm quite pleased with the quality, but you may not receive all pieces in the box of whatever quantity you are purchasing. I received 11 in a purchased and labeled box of 12, and I only noticed the discrepancy as I was applying the strips to my rug. Therefore, the product is not easy to return but securing my rug is incomplete. I would give the strips 5 stars if the purchased quantity had been delivered and will change my review if the seller makes the transaction right.

I just got these for my rugs and I must say they work! They are easy to apply and rugs cannot move making this product a safe investment.

I bought these to put on the bottom of my sewing machine foot peddles (I have multiple machine) to keep it from slipping. I've previously tried several foot stops that never worked. I cut pieces to fit. Wow, where has this product been all my life! I believe this product would work in other applications where an item needs to be kept in place, other then it's original purpose for rugs. Great product!

Solved all my problems with rugs moving. I used them on a ruggable in a high traffic area that was driving me crazy with how much it moved. it has not moved AT ALL in months now, I am so happy! If you are buying this for a ruggable they don't stick to the underlay, they only stick to the material of the rug itself.
