The EcoDecors Serenity Earthy Teak bench is a beautiful addition to my shower! Packed with care, it arrived within a week of ordering and all the lovely wood pieces and hardware were included. Solid and well-crafted, it was simple to assemble following the easy to understand instructions. I have some mobility issues, and the height and stability is perfect for me to stand up safely after use. A big plus is that the company is women owned and supports women in developing countries. I’m very pleased to have found just the perfect shower bench.

For the price, it's well worth it. By far better than the plastic, aluminum leg type. This stool is solid as a rock. They don't really give a good idea of measurements, but as you can see in my picture, it easily fits in an average tub. Also it is a good height, a couple of inches taller than a toilet seat. It's also nice looking, not like a geriatric stool. It's far better than the cheap made in China look-a-like. You get what you pay for, and this is well worth the money. Also you can add many more different kinds like it from their selection. Cons? there are a couple to think about, before you buy. It does weigh a bit, about 10 pounds. Moving it might be a problem for a disabled person. Assembly, requires a bit of work. I used my Dewalt power tool, and was fine. The small Alan wrench they include would not work very well if at all. Get a handy man to assemble it if you are not so equipped. In the end I can say it holds my weight: 240 Lb effortlessly, is solid as a rock. No wobble, no slipping, easy to get up off of, and comfort is good.

Extremely well constructed. I am a 72 year old woman who loves projects and grew up helping my dad — an engineer, carpenter, and artist. The teak used is beautiful, solid wood—the instructions to put together were simple and explained well — there was no guessing— all screw wholes labeled well and lined up perfectly. You can tell the construction was well thought out. The bench is sturdy. Very impressive!!

Beautiful piece. Very sturdy and heavy. I wish it had adjustable feet because I’m using it inside my shower, and shower floors are curved and angled so water can drain. Water does bead up on it. It’s a nice piece and adds a spa-like feel to my shower.

We recently remodeled our master bathroom, and I wanted to decorate it in a "Zen spa" theme. I decided to use natural materials like teak and acacia wood wherever possible, so this teak stool was exactly what I was looking for. It is very sturdy and boy is it SOLID! The wood is seriously thick and heavy. Assembly was straight-forward, with 8 Allen screws in all that needed to be inserted and tightened. The only issue I had was with the alignment of the holes, which was slightly off on a couple of them. But I was still able to tighten the screws all the way into their intended holes, it just took a little extra effort to get past the misalignment. We remodeled our shower to be a Roman walk-in style, so the stool gets exposed to some water since it's right at the edge of the shower opening (which has no door - look at the photos to see what I mean). This stool is so heavy and solid that my wife can put her foot on it to shave her legs and I can put my foot on it to dry my legs and it doesn't tilt or slide at all. I know it's not cheap, but you're definitely getting what you're paying for with this item!

I ordered this thinking I was paying $209, but when it arrived it was $356. Was going to return it due to price increase but when I saw the teak wood, I decided to splurge and keep it. Very simple to put together, tool included plus a spare of each screw. Beautifully made, finished and designed. So graceful. Very sturdy/solid. Gave me security in the shower after knee replacement. Everything is so typical of a company being owned and operated by women. I am so glad I kept it despite the price increase.

I ordered this amazing product, and it took at least ten days to arrive, upon delivery the oiter box was fairly in tact I unboxed the various components to find that the tob wooden bracket from one of the sides was broken down the middle, probably an item defect, so I ordered a refund and will buy the same item again.

I looked around a lot trying to find a quality well built bench. When I read EcoDecors story and how they support the local artisans who craft these fine benches I was sold. I love a company who has a social purpose and are not just in business to take advantage of others. The bench arrived in 1 Day ...super fast delivery. Not exactly as advertised as it did require assembly but that was very easy with very good hardware and the tool to do the job. BUT WOW am I impressed with the quality of this bench. Very well made with a very high end finish. 100% I would buy this bench again. Well Done EcoDecors!
